Joint security forces had successfully concluded Disarmament exercise in Juba City. Thousands of illegal fi****ms collected from individuals not authorised to cary them included 12.7MM anti aircraft, PKMs, RPGs, different types of assault rifles that included akm-47, G3s, pistols, crude guns like machetes, bows and arrows, pangas, machetes. Drugs were collected too. Bangi/marajuana and black dollars.
The leadership/command of Joint security forces would like sincerely and honesty apologise to all those who negatively affected by Disarmament exercise. Special apologies goes to members of diplomatic corps, UN and NGOS family and other dignitaries for all forms of inconveniences caused.

Security personnel on patrol in Turkana, Kenya after a past attack by the Toposa militia of south sudan. South Sudan on February 8, 2023 summoned Kenya’s envoy to Juba Samwel Nandwa to protest an alleged encroachment on its territory.

Mr Deng met with the Kenyan diplomat on Wednesday after clashes between South Sudan’s Toposa and Kenya’s Turkana communities rocked the border.
The two pastoral communities routinely cross the border in search of water and pasture for their livestock.
In South Sudan, local and state officials in Eastern Equatorial State claimed in several interviews with media last week that a convoy of Kenyan security officers strayed briefly into South Sudan territory.
