President Salva Kiir Mayardit has ordered the Transitional National Legislative Assembly (TNLA) to remove the immunity of MPs Kom Kom Geng and Ayii E. Akol.

The two MPs are accused of forging the President’s signature. This will allow law enforcement to arrest, question, and prosecute them in court.

The President said using his signature without permission is a serious crime under the law, and called for quick action from the Assembly to protect the constitution.
