Fellow citizens of the Republic of South Sudan,

On this sacred occasion of Good Friday, I extend my heartfelt greetings and blessings to each and every one of you. Today, we remember the profound sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ, a sacrifice that symbolizes love, forgiveness, and hope for all humanity.

As a nation, we are called to reflect on these values and embrace unity, peace, and compassion in our daily lives. Let this solemn day inspire us to forgive one another, to stand together as one people, and to renew our commitment to building a stronger and more peaceful South Sudan.

The Office of the First Lady of the Republic of South Sudan is pleased to announce the appointment of Brig. Gen. Sultan Monydeng Akook Mabuk as Special Advisor for Social Development.

This appointment, recommended by the National Ministry of Foreign Affairs, recognizes his longstanding service, leadership, and commitment to community development in Gogrial West County and beyond. His dedication to fostering unity, addressing social challenges, and promoting positive engagement among communities has been exemplary.

In his new role, Brig. Gen. Monydeng will support the Office of the First Lady in advancing key social development initiatives, strengthening community relations, and promoting inclusive progress across the nation.

We congratulate him on this important responsibility and wish him success as we continue working together to promote peace, unity, and sustainable development for all the people of South Sudan.
