“กวีอะ ที่เขียน Iliad กับ Odyssey”

“อ๋อ…เรื่องสงครามกรีกใช่ปะ”

“แล้วมันเกี่ยวอะไรกับกลิ่นวะ”

มีเสียงหัวเราะเบา ๆ เกิดขึ้น
ก่อนที่จะเงียบลงช่วงหนึ่ง

“ถ้ากลิ่นมันเล่าเรื่องได้จริงมันเล่าได้แค่ไหนวะ”

“ก็แล้วแต่ว่าเราจะให้มันเล่าแค่ไหน”

“ถ้ามันต้องมีตัวละครมีความขัดแย้งมีการเดินทางแบบเรื่องพวกนั้นล่ะ”

ณ ตอนนี้ ยังไม่มีใครตอบทันที

“มึงคิดว่ากลิ่นจะทำได้ถึงตรงนั้นหรอ”

“ไม่รู้…แต่กูว่าแม่งน่าลอง”

ความเงียบกลับมาอีกครั้ง


แต่ครั้งนี้มันไม่เหมือนเดิม

เหมือนทุกคนกำลังคิดถึงภาพเดียวกัน
แต่ยังไม่มีใครพูดออกมา

“งั้น…ถ้าเป็น Odyssey ล่ะ”

ชื่อของโฮมเมอร์
พาเราไปสู่ The Iliad และ The Odyssey

สองมหากาพย์
ที่ไม่ได้เป็นเพียงวรรณกรรม
แต่เป็นเรื่องราวของสงคราม

ของการเดินทาง
ของการสูญเสีย
และการกลับบ้าน

สิ่งที่ทำให้เราสนใจ
ไม่ใช่แค่ “เนื้อเรื่อง”
แต่คือวิธีที่เรื่องราวเหล่านั้น
ถูกเล่า
ถูกตีความ
และถูกส่งต่อ
ผ่านกาลเวลา

เราจึงเริ่มตั้งคำถาม
ถ้าเรื่องราวเหล่านี้
ไม่ได้ถูกอ่านผ่านตัวอักษร
แต่ถูก “ตีความผ่านกลิ่น”
มันจะเปลี่ยนไปอย่างไร

กลิ่นของสนามรบจะเป็นแบบไหน
กลิ่นของทะเลที่ไม่มีที่สิ้นสุด
กลิ่นของความคิดถึง
หรือกลิ่นของการกลับถึงบ้าน
หลังจากการเดินทางที่ยาวนาน

บางเรื่องราว
ไม่จำเป็นต้องถูกอ่าน

“Do you guys know Homer?
”
“Which Homer?”

“The poet… Iliad, Odyssey.”

“Oh… the Greek war stuff?”

“Yeah… but what does that have to do with scent?”

A soft laugh passes around the table
before the conversation slows down

“If scent can really tell a story…

how far can it go?”

“As far as we let it, I guess.”

“What if it has to carry a character
conflict

a journey… like those stories?”

No one answers right away

“Do you really think scent can go that far?”
“I don’t know…
but I think it’s worth trying.”

Silence returns
but this time, it feels different

As if everyone is seeing the same image
without saying it out loud

“Then… what if it’s The Odyssey?”

From that moment
something began to take shape

A simple question that night
did not end as a conversation
It opened into something deeper

The name “Homer”
led us to The Iliad and The Odyssey

Two epics
that are not merely literature
But stories of war
of journeys
of loss
and of homecoming

What drew us in
was not just the narrative
But the way these stories
are told
interpreted
and carried forward
through time

So we began to ask
What if these stories
were not read through words

But interpreted through scent
How would they change
What would a battlefield smell like
The endless sea
The weight of longing
Or the quiet moment of returning home
after a journey that could never be undone

Scentdicate invites you
into a space of interpretation

Where scent
is no longer something you simply wear
But a language
that tells stories
translates ideas
and creates experiences
that cannot be seen

More than 40 perspectives
More than 40 stories
waiting to be experienced
