Anatomical Gastric Botox is not planned with the same standard approach for every patient.

The procedure begins with a detailed endoscopic examination of the esophagus, stomach, and duodenum. If no condition preventing the procedure is detected, the patient’s stomach anatomy is carefully evaluated.

The application points, dose distribution, and dilution method are then planned individually. Particular attention is given to the fundus and antrum regions, with approximately 35–40 injections distributed according to the patient’s:

What Happens During an Anatomical Gastric Botox Procedure?

Anatomical Gastric Botox is performed endoscopically and does not involve surgery or incisions.

First, our team welcomes the patient and completes the necessary preparations. Dr. Ahmet Bekin then meets with the patient individually to explain the procedure and answer any questions.

In the endoscopy room, an IV line is placed and sedation is administered under the supervision of the anesthesia team. Once the patient is comfortably asleep, the endoscope is advanced through the mouth into the stomach and the procedure begins.
