• Significant Swelling (Edema): The 3rd week is still a very early stage of tissue repair. While the nose looks highly satisfactory right now, there is still a considerable amount of edema, particularly around the tip and bridge.
• Healing Dynamics: It takes patience for the final shape to settle after rhinoplasty. Most of the swelling will subside within the first 3-6 months, and it can take up to a year for the tissues to fully refine.
• What to Expect: As the swelling goes down over time, the nasal contours will become much more elegant, defined, and reveal their true characteristic shape.
