My sister has been following every pieces of skincare advice I have her since I was in Esthetic school, and here we are! Genetics are amazing, however the misuse of products can trump ‘good genes’.

Facial Aftercare 🤍
Treatment : Firming Peptide Facial

💄Try avoiding makeup or any other skincare for at least 24hrs post facial.
🧽Avoid exfoliation for 72hours after your treatment .
🌞 stay out of direct sunlight for a week after your treatment (this means cloudy days as well)… wear your spf
🏋🏾♂️Try to avoid the gym or strenuous exercises for 24 hours
By not applying spf after your treatment you are reversing any progress that was made. Spf 30-45 is perfect, not in your makeup or moisturizer! You need a separate lotion that should be reapplied every 2 hours. ✨

The four saddest words that were ever composed are these dismal sounds ‘THE SPA IS CLOSED’ .
Guess what, we’re not doing that 🙌🏾…. But our head Esty Danielle would be out of studio from the 18th -28th May to allow for some get-away and rejuvenation time. Heard that’s called ‘vacation’ 🏝.

Danielle Pereira is the head esthetician at BareSkin Beauty Studio.
Pereira is a certified skin care therapist, specializing in medical-grade treatments for all skin types and concerns.
She attributes her love for all things Beauty to her mother, who always reminded her and her older sisters that self-care was how you poured back into yourself.
It was this love that first drew her to Toronto, Canada, to pursue a career in makeup. But, like most journeys, the path you choose, isn't always the one intended for you. Amidst pursuing her dreams, a focus on skin care began to blossom and she was suddenly falling in love with the world of esthetics.
This newly discovered passion led to her studying under the revered educators of George Brown College, where she walked away as a licensed medical skin care therapist.
Her journey has lured her to some of Toronto's most sought after studios – Mix Beauty Lab and Gee Beauty – where she was able to hone her talents and become an expert in her field.
With experience that now spans almost a decade, Pereira had a desire to bring a similar experience back to where it all started: Trinidad.
In December of 2019, Pereira opened the doors to BareSkin Beauty Studio, now located in Shops of Arima. Here, she provides medical-grade treatments and exclusive spa services.
