With every passing day we find that life brings us numerous wonderful ‘gifts’ (especially as we get into our forties, and hear nah allyuh, fifties have all sorts of specialties in store…lol.)
One of those gifts is the way aging, and life in general, affects our skin. I must admit that I’ve struggled for years with my skin and what I’ve learned is that whatever goes on inside will definitely show up on the outside.
So as my journey towards healing and wholeness continues, I think it’s important to celebrate and share that I’m not where I was but I’m loving where I’m going and how it’s showing.

In the past few months I’ve lost two people who were very dear to me. My auntie in March and last week a very good friend. It’s been a tough few days and I can’t shake the feeling that I should have called more often to check up on her. But today as I thought of who she was, to her family, her son, her nieces, her friends and how she lived fiercely and with intention, I could almost hear her saying (in her quiet, pragmatic but loving way) ‘look Pauls girl, you just live. Love God, live right and love big!’ And that’s exactly what I intend to do. Blessings loves❤️
