Clay masks are easy to do masks that can be made and used in the comfort of your home. Clay-based masks are achieved by mixing the dry powder along with a variety of active ingredients to create a smooth, easy to apply paste. •
If more liquid is required to the consistency, distilled (purified) water can be added to dilute the paste. 💦 •
Clay masks can be mixed according to your skins requirement and type. Both the clay and active ingredient, have a variety of cleansing, toning, refining and stimulating benefits for your skin. The following ingredients can be purchased at your nearest herbal store, pharmacy or natural shops. Be sure to match the active ingredients to the clays for the appropriate skin type. 🥣

CLAYS:
Calamine- suitable for sensitive skin
Kaolin- suitable for oily, congested skin
Magnesium carbonate- suitable for young skin, or of mixed with calamine for drier, more sensitive skins.
Fullers earth- oily, congested skin
Flowers of sulphur- extremely oily skin

Rosewater- mature, dry and sensitive skin
Orange flower water- all skin types
Witch hazel- oily skin
