Radiant skin

Most wedding gowns highlight what little skin you’re showing, so we need to make sure your arms, decolletage, shoulders and back are looking their best by emitting a healthy glow.

To help you get that youthful glow include lots of vitamin A in your diet, not enough makes your skin dry and flaky.

Tan Preparation

To achieve the best result, your skin should be soft, smooth and moisturised. I’ve found the best way to do this is with the Epsom salt bath routine. This should be done 2 nights prior to your spray tan.



Epsom Salt Bath routine:

Soak in a warm bath with 2 cups of Epsom salts to soften your skin
Gently exfoliate all over with a tan removal mitt to help the dry skin cells come off
After your bath, apply a heavy moisturiser such as South Seas Bali Body Butter and leave it on overnight to deeply moisturise your skin
Lose 5kgs in 5 minutes

Since the photographs taken on your wedding day remain part of your life forever, and if you haven’t had the time, or the energy to attend bridal boot-camp, spray tanning is well-known for toning skin and making you appear slimmer.

Tip for the day:
DHA solutions take about 16-hours to fully develop. You will receive the best results if you can avoid bathing until the day after their spray tan session. If you must bathe, you should wait a minimum of 6-hours after the application.

If showering prior to the 16-hour post application recommendation, a simple rinse with water only, is best. Soap destroys DHA. Delayed bathing allows the DHA bronzer sufficient time to complete its reaction with the amino acids (proteins) within the skin.
