Just a few days left to register for my upcoming class with

I’m truly excited to share my knowledge with you all and add to what you already know about chemical relaxers.

Come prepared with your notebook, pen and bring as many questions as you’d like, let’s learn and grow together.

My goal is for you to leave not only with a deeper understanding of relaxers and hair science, but also with the confidence to apply it successfully using a professional, results driven system.

Secure your spot—I look forward to seeing you there 💫

Healthy hair isn’t luck, it’s discipline. Hers what it takes
1)Patience
2)Real listening skills
3)Following instructions (not halfway doing them😉)
4)Trusting your stylist to lead
5)Investing (time and most importantly money) in your hair because consistency isn’t free

Good hair is a commitment, not a one time appointment.

A big chop is often the easiest way to mask a hair concern but not necessarily resolve it. A big chop is ideal for a fresh start or reset, however, when we reset the hair we also still have to fix the underlying issue that cause the problem initially.

These pics tells a deeper story, one that may reflect multiple underlying issues. Some may be related to hair shaft disorders, while others may stem from inconsistent or improper hair care and relaxer application processes.

Based on what we saw in these pics, possible concerns may include:
1)Pseudomonilethrix
2)Trichorrhexis Nodosa
3)Chemical overprocessing
4)A previous inconsistent or overlapping relaxer retouch application
5)Moisture or protein imbalance

Because there can be several contributing factors, cutting the hair removes the visible damage but it does not address the root cause.

Without identifying and correcting the cause, the same issue is likely to reoccur.

If your relaxed hair shows these beaded notes along the hair shaft and therefore resulting in breakage and major shedding, book a consultation with us today.

Car Chronicles: Trichorrhexis Nodosa

Sweat + Hair = Damage if left sitting too long.

Today we’re focusing on just ONE effect… more gems coming soon.

Science teaches us that hair breakage can occur due to many internal and external reasons. While cutting isn’t the only solution, it is often a necessary one.

Cutting without a plan to recover health is what I call “masking” the issue. Cutting removes visible damage in the moment but it doesn’t prevent future damage from happening and it also doesn’t guarantee the issue not show back up.

Why should we cut?
Once breakage begins, the hair shaft usually continues to split and break over time regardless

How do we cut?
Not to save length..
Health over length is my salon’s mantra.
Hair must be cut above the damaged areas, this is the only effective way to cut breakage. Length will come back once the hair and scalp is healthy.

What’s next?
After the cut, we create a plan to address the root cause of the issue by doing a thorough hair, scalp, and lifestyle consultation. By creating a plan to fix the issue we assure the client that once they stick to all necessary procedures, the issue should reoccur.

If your hair looks any of these pictures, book a consultation with us today.
