JUST IN: Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto reacted to the Senate hearing today on the “Philippines Under Water” issue, where Curlee and Sarah Discaya were questioned about alleged anomalies in flood control projects.

said the couple is “clearly angling to become state witnesses” to avoid jail time and pointed out several inconsistencies in their statements. He also questioned their claim of only earning 2–3% profit per project while previously admitting to having billions in earnings.

“Presidente na mismo ang nakakita sa ghost project nila. Sinong gagawa ng ganun kalaking krimen para sa 2–3% na kita? Wag tayong magpauto sa mga paaawa effect nila… wala daw silang magawa??” he added.
