On my recent trip to Southeast Asia, I happened to spot a drink called "Taiwan Milk Tea." Curiosity got the best of me, so I ordered a cup right away.

Whoa~ It was ridiculously sweet! It turns out that for our friends abroad, the signature taste of "Taiwan Milk Tea" is pure sweetness!

When it comes to Taiwan’s most iconic happy inventions, right alongside pineapple cakes, boba milk tea is definitely at the top of the list.

As far as I know, every boba shop has its own secret recipe that sets it apart:

Some master the golden ratio using milk powder bases.

Some focus entirely on getting that perfectly soft, chewy, and springy boba texture.

Others prioritize sourcing premium tea leaves above all else.

What’s your absolute favorite style of boba milk tea? Personally, I am obsessed with classic breakfast shop milk tea with boba!

Fragrance shouldn't feel like a pressure; it should be a comfortable, natural presence.

Strawberry Fields by April Aromatics takes me right back to the turn of spring and summer 2023 in Western Europe, a season overflowing with fresh strawberries and all kinds of berries.

The opening bursts with the vivid scent of freshly picked strawberries, complete with their leafy green stems, accompanied by the bright, slightly tart sweetness of cranberries and raspberries with their skins on. As that initial touch of crisp greenness and tartness fades, the rich sweetness of the strawberry gently unfolds, gradually shifting toward something reminiscent of a warm, simmered jam made from strawberries and mixed berries. It instantly reminds me of the freshly reduced sauce drizzled over strawberry tarts in local European pastry shops during peak season. While Taiwan certainly has delicious strawberries, the fruit is inherently native to temperate regions—European strawberries truly carry a much deeper, richer aroma. I think I completely understand what the perfumer was trying to convey.

To come across a strawberry scent that feels so natural and true to life—without a trace of synthetic harshness—makes me feel like life itself is wonderfully sweet.

香氛不應該是壓力，而是舒適自然的存在。

April Aromatics 的草莓原野，帶我回到2023年春夏之交盛產草莓與各種莓果的西歐。

開頭我聞到非常生動連帶綠葉蒂頭的新鮮草莓，也伴隨著小紅莓與覆盆子帶果皮的微酸清甜。待開頭的輕微鮮綠與酸澀感褪去，草莓的香甜逐漸漫開，越來越走向近似於草莓和一點綜合莓果的熬煮果醬，這也讓我聯想到當地當季甜點店新鮮草莓塔上的現熬醬汁。台灣也有好吃的草苺，但這種水果必竟是溫帶地區的產物，歐洲出產的草莓香味真的更濃，我想我能理解調香師想表達的感覺。

能遇見自然真實、不流於化工感的草莓香，我覺得生命好甜蜜。
