Before sin came into our world, food was comprising of fruits,nuts ,grains, legumes and seeds.

AFTER SIN INTRUSION WHAT HAPPENED?

After sin had entered in Eden something was added to food! What is that and why?

Herbs or vegetables were added to food.These were to be taken as food in this era.

For these reasons;

1- Ground was cursed for the good or sake of man, therefore sweating was induced. Also pain (inflammation) was to be part of man's life.

Because God will make all things new brethren.

God is good. God is the King!

Notice why do we find flesh added to the category of meat???? It was because of sin.

Sin brought forth flesh eating, a world was to be destroyed in the antediluvian era, all veggies were gone. So clean flesh was added to supplement Edenic diet for a period of time.

But better yet we have the sanctuary friends.

The way, the truth and the life is found in the sanctuary friends.

2. Matthew 15:11 says, "Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out." How do you explain this?
The subject in Matthew 15:1-20 is eating without first washing the hands (verse 2). The focus is not eating, but washing. The scribes taught that eating any food without a special ceremonial washing defiled the eater. Jesus said the ceremonial washings were meaningless. In verse 19, He listed certain evils--murders, adulteries, thefts, etc. Then He concluded, "These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man." Verse 20.

3. But didn't Jesus cleanse all animals in Peter's vision, as recorded in Acts 10?
No! In fact, the subject of this vision is not animals, but people. God gave Peter this vision to show him that the Gentiles were not unclean, as the Jews believed. God had instructed Cornelius, a Gentile, to send men to visit Peter. But Peter would have refused to see them if God had not given him this vision, because Jewish law forbade entertaining Gentiles (verse 28). But when the men finally did arrive, Peter welcomed them, explaining that ordinarily he would not have done so, but "God hath shewed me that I should not call any man common or unclean." Verse 28. In the next chapter (Acts 11), the church members criticized Peter for speaking with these Gentiles. So Peter told them the whole story of his vision and its meaning. And Acts 11:18 says, "When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life."

Verses 3 through 6 are a discussion of those who eat certain things versus those who do not. The passage does not say either is right, but rather counsels that neither pass judgment on the other. Instead, let God be the Judge (verses 4,10-12). Verses 14 and 20 refer to foods that were first offered to idols (and were thus ceremonially unclean)--not to the clean and unclean meats of Leviticus chapter 11. (Read 1 Corinthians 8:1, 4, 10, 13). The point of the discussion is that no food is "unclean" or "impure" just because it has first been offered to idols, because an idol is "nothing in the world." 1 Corinthians 8:4. But if a person's conscience bothers him for eating such food, he should leave it alone. Or even if it merely offends a brother, he should likewise abstain.

6. Are health laws and eating and drinking really important to me personally? If I love the Lord, isn't that enough?
They are a matter of life versus death, because these laws involve obedience. "He became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him." Hebrews 5:9. "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven." Matthew 7:21. Love to Christ is involved here because He says, "If ye love me, keep my commandments." John 14:15. When we truly love the Lord, we will gladly obey Him without dodging or making excuses. This is the supreme test.

All that happened to the Israelites is an exmaple to us

Now let us look at the example

Exodus 16
gypt.2 And the whole congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and Aaron in the wilderness:3 And the children of Israel said unto them, Would to God we had died by the hand of the LORD in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the flesh pots, [and] when we did eat bread to the full; for ye have brought us forth into this wilderness, to kill this whole assembly with hunger.4 # Then said the LORD unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; and the people shall go out and gather a certain rate every day, that I may prove them, whether they will walk in my law, or no.5 And it shall come to pass, that on the sixth day they shall prepare [that] which they bring in; and it shall be twice as much as they gather daily.

Notice the diet of Egypt

It consisted of meat, flesh, onions, licks and eating to the full which is gluttony
(If you read numbers you see it also consisted of fish)

1 And [when] the people complained, it displeased the LORD: and the LORD heard [it]; and his anger was kindled; and the fire of the LORD burnt among them, and consumed [them that were] in the uttermost parts of the camp.2 And the people cried unto Moses; and when Moses prayed unto the LORD, the fire was quenched.3 And he called the name of the place Taberah: because the fire of the LORD burnt among them.4 # And the mixt multitude that [was] among them fell a lusting: and the children of Israel also wept again, and said, Who shall give us flesh to eat?5 We remember the fish, which we did eat in Egypt freely; the cucumbers, and the melons, and the leeks, and the onions, and the garlick:

Meaning fish is also meat of Egypt

But notice the diet of God it is very simple

Manna is his diet devoid of all flesh

And also not
God gave it to test their character wether they would walk in His laws or not!

5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

Here we see clealry we ought to walk as Jesus walked

And what were the footsteps of Jesus?

21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:22 Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:

What God wanted to do to the people was to teach them the evil of sin

When they would est the manna they woudl see it and know we need more faith in God they would see that they are tired of it and would ask God to help them in their unthankfulness

All this was the test, manna was to show them their deficiency and then lead them to prayer and confession

Notice the objective of the manna and the law of God are the same

Exodus 20
6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
20 And Moses said unto the people, Fear not: for God is come to prove you, and that his fear may be before your faces, that ye sin not.

The law and manna pne thing people love God and this love will lead them to lead beautiful sinless lives

Exodus 24
1 And he said unto Moses, Come up unto the LORD, thou, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel; and worship ye afar off.2 And Moses alone shall come near the LORD: but they shall not come nigh; neither shall the people go up with him.3 # And Moses came and told the people all the words of the LORD, and all the judgments: and all the people answered with one voice, and said, All the words which the LORD hath said will we do.

We see clearly here that they said all these the lord has said we will do

This they thought they would do in their own power

But the manna was to teach them to humble them so they trust in devine power and ask him to give them strength to do good.

"I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." (Romans 12:1-2)

There are people that clearly doesn't know the perfect will of God. They can't distinguish between his permissive will and his original and perfect will. Merely God's perfect will continues even in heaven but his permissive will was all because of sin. Meat eating never was until men fell in sin. Moreover being conformed to the world include participating not in all the reforms in eating , dressing, speaking, in music etc we should not be common with the world in anyway if we are God's chosen. Meat eating is not God's perfect even in heaven nobody wil seek killing clean or dirty animals and eat, our hand must be clean from bloodshed. Otherwise if we still lust after flesh which temperance do we apply according to the fruits of the spirit.

So we see a correlation between the diet of Egypt and sinfulness

As also the diet of God in the wilderness and holiness of character

It was not the manna itself that made them Holy but rather the God who gave it

Those who received t by faith received of the promise they entered Canaan.

Exodus 16
32 # And Moses said, This [is] the thing which the LORD commandeth, Fill an omer of it to be kept for your generations; that they may see the bread wherewith I have fed you in the wilderness, when I brought you forth from the land of Egypt.33 And Moses said unto Aaron, Take a pot, and put an omer full of manna therein, and lay it up before the LORD, to be kept for your generations.34 As the LORD commanded Moses, so Aaron laid it up before the Testimony, to be kept.35 And the children of Israel did eat manna forty years, until they came to a land inhabited; they did eat manna, until they came unto the borders of the land of Canaan.36 Now an omer [is] the tenth [part] of an ephah.

But those that received it but doubted died in the wilderness

We know of Joshua and Caleb who entered

So it is not that all who partake of this diet are going to heaven

It is about the character or if we learn the true lessons from Manna can we see The beauty of Jesus as He said you will see the glory of the Lord in the morning (manna)

Exodus 16
7 And in the morning, then ye shall see the glory of the LORD; for that he heareth your murmurings against the LORD: and what [are] we, that ye murmur against us?

So by beholding we become changed

2 Cor 3:17-18

17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord [is], there [is] liberty.18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, [even] as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Jesus said he is the Manna and he does not eat the manna does have no life in him

John 648 I am that bread of life.49 Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead.50 This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man may eat thereof, and not die.51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.52 The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, How can this man give us [his] flesh to eat?53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.55 For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.

But he who drinks and eats the life has life

So we see the health reform or manna is from Jesus

It is to lead us to drink the blood of Jesus

If we partake of the flesh the words of Jesus His Manna and by His grace we will have His life in us

23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God but a times is coming and it is here when we must gibe glory to God

Revelation 14
6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

People must give glory

If sin= falling short

Therefore no sin = giving God glory

But how friends?????

31 Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.

The first place to start is in the habit of eating and drinking

This is where the battle had to be won first

Not by might but by the spirit saith the Lord

Lets continue what is in the sanctuary on earth that will be an example of what is in heaven????

Exodus 16

Notice Manna was put in a pot the pot was put in the ark
And the ark was in the Most holy place

So when Jesus moves into the Most Holy place we will know it is time we partake of the Manna

That was why Jesus ate fish on earth or the angels ate the lamb when meeting with Abraham

Because that was in the courtyard but we are now in the Most Holy Place

Revelation 11
18 And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.19 And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.

Notice the two events

Judgement will begin with the dead and commence to the living before probations closes

We are told at his coming that he will destroy those who destroy the earth

The dead know nothing so this applies to the living

So at some point before probation closes for the whole world the judgement must pass from the dead to the living ( this is a study for another time)

But the issue is the venue for the investigative judgement is in the Most Holy place

How when one sees a toilet you know you are in a bathroom, a bed bedroom and etc...

The ark of the covenant you know you are in the Most Holy Place

Which reminds us what was in the ark?

The pot of Manna

Which means just before Jesus comes if probation is to close some time before His coming

Then the people of God must learn to live without sin they must give God glory

But how???

There are many ways but the first place to start is in the habits of eating and drinking and with the understanding that it is about character formation

Romans 14

17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

Issue is not just about meat which is food

But rather in character that is the issue of the fruits of the Holy Spirit

This is why after 1844

The prophet of the Lord was shown the vision of health reform and its bearing on character!

But in this study i have shown health reform in relation to spiritual health

1 The elder unto the wellbeloved Gaius, whom I love in the truth.2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

Mathew 24
38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

So to me i believe the last day people will have the law of God and the testimony of Jesus

Not the testimony of anyone else but of Jesus

This is the spirit of prophecy

Not the spirit if Ellen white or just mere books by Ellen white but the spirit if prophecy

So it is clear the children of Israel had a prophet
Modern day Israel has a prophet

Children of Israel had the law modern day Israel has the Law

Children of Israel had the book of the law which were the writings of Moses Due 31:24-end modern day Israel has also the book of the law which is the spirit of prophecy

The children of Israel did not worship Moses so too we don't worship Ellen White

So too those who opposed Moses died in the wilderness it is clear to us we shall not move with the Lord is we disobey His prophets

Lastly let us hear the conclusion of the Whole Matter!

Hosea 12
13 And by a prophet the LORD brought Israel out of Egypt, and by a prophet was he preserved.

Without a prophet we cannot leave Egypt (and its diet)

Without a prophet we will rot or sin and not be preserved

Notice below

Romans 9
27 Esaias also crieth concerning Israel, Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, a remnant shall be saved:28 For he will finish the work, and cut [it] short in righteousness: because a short work will the Lord make upon the earth.

Here we see no matter how many people we baptise no matter how many slogans we make, Whether REACH THE WORLD, etc.....

Only a remnant will be saved.

So salvation is only to the remnant for those who are moderndays' Israel.

And who are the remnants?

Revelation 12
17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

Notice the remnant keep the law of God they have understood it is a question of tying into Jesus who makes us whole

But also notice another definition of the remnant

Revelation 7
3 Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.

The remnant are also called servants

So here we see only the remnant will be saved and only the servants will be sealed

How is this possible???

Revelation 19
10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See [thou do it] not: I am thy fellow servant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

Here we see clearly that the Testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of prophecy

Not only this but that those that have it not on their shelf but in practice are servants

So this is too clear

Who will be sealed those that have victory over sin

How they also have the prophet with them, the testimony of Jesus speaks to them and guides them to Jesus

19 And they took him, and brought him unto Areopagus, saying, May we know what this new doctrine, whereof thou speakest, [is]?20 For thou bringest certain strange things to our ears: we would know therefore what these things mean.21 (For all the Athenians and strangers which were there spent their time in nothing else, but either to tell, or to hear some new thing.)

Let us be like the bereans and not like the athenians
