Our all-women factory in Dar es Salaam is hard at work on the very first production run of our new Kazi Tea packaging—even the boxes are printed in Tanzania! Every box is assembled with care: 20 tea bags are placed into biodegradable cellulose liners, heat-sealed for freshness, and packed into every box 💪🏾

New factory coming soon! We’re moving!!

Our team in Dar has been working incredibly hard over the past few days to make this move happen. From planning and strategising how to make the most of the space, to designing layouts, coordinating logistics, and even helping with construction, it’s truly been an all-hands-on-deck effort.

There have been long days, lots of problem-solving, and plenty of sweating in the Dar heat, but seeing everything come together has made it all worth it.

This is a huge milestone for us, and we couldn’t be more excited to finally share it with you!

And that’s what goes into every cup 🍵 the farmers growing the leaves, the all-women factory in Dar es Salaam sorting and packing them by hand, and the care in every step from leaf to cup.

We named our brand this so we never forget why we do what we do.
