Yesterday I had yet another soothing treatment at Mrembo spa and thoroughly enjoyed the vibes, treatment and music.
Now you have to know, I have been doing this (way too little in fact but still) since 15 years (yes that’s how old we are!) and it is still a treat for me too!
There is something special about the building (maybe the spirits haha), the energy is of course very feminine and soothing but it also has to do with the beautiful architecture and the way one feels instantly at home.
We had many guests who felt the same and could not put their finger on what it is that makes Mrembo so special.
Of course its also very much the team. The “warembo” have a certain natural and warm way about themselves, that makes you feel comfortable and safe.
It’s not just their job to make you feel good but they actually care and take much pride in making sure you leave in a happy mood.
It’s been hard times but we are happy to herewith let you know that we are open and since its still quiet, like to make a very special offer of only Tsh 40000 for a soothing massage, a herbal facial or a lemongrass pedicure. We have produced fresh scrubs and are taking good precautions in terms of wearing masks and making sure you feel comfortable.

Natural liquid „dry“ handsoap now available at Mrembo!
Wash your hands with simply soap and water but if no water around try our all natural clove, lime with aloe Vera and apple cider vinegar solution to put in your handbag.

Alcohol-based products contain a high-percentage alcoholsolution (typically 60-80% ethanol) and kill viruses but also important microbes that your skin needs in order to fight bacteria.
” Soap is better because you only need a fairly small amount of soapy water, which, with rubbing, covers your entire hand easily. Whereas you need to literally soak the virus in ethanol for a brief moment, and wipes or rubbing a gel on the hands does not guarantee that you soak every corner of the skin on your hands effectively enough.
