Aromas are metaphorical keys to the human soul. Aromatherapy and incense - a fragrant philosophy, a mysterious world given to us by nature itself, and a magical transformation in capable hands. Often, important discoveries are preceded by a chance, so it is believed that it was a chance that helped the birth of aromatherapy as a direction of medicine in the 20th century. There is a legend, overgrown with mythical details, about how the French perfumer and chemist René Gattefosse, who owns the research “Therapeutic Use of Lavender Essential Oil” and “Lavender in Therapy” (1932), received a severe burn on his hand while working in the laboratory, and inertia dipped it into the essential oil of lavender standing there.
