This evening we are at obukama bwa Tooro youth center for “Ekyooto Mukairirizi”. This activity is done during camp fire nights by the Tooro kingdom to discuss cultural issues however this time round the kingdom is integrating it with SRHR.

During the launch of the Reproductive Health Uganda youth corner, the city health officer has reported that since they received the activities in Karangura sub county, there has been a reduction of 4% in teenage pregnancies from 19% to 15%👏🏻👏🏻.

Young people in Fortportal city have asked Reproductive Health Uganda management to leave the newly launched youth corner open and accessible at all times because it is the only space they hope to freely access health related information without discrimination.

This afternoon we are launching a youth corner in Kabarole district. This safe and youth friendly space has been established Reproductive Health Uganda Fortportal clinic to ease access to sexual reproductive health services and information for young people.

Myths and misconceptions contribute alot to the less uptake of family planning services. This , one of our key focus areas is sensitizing communities to demystify issues around family planning. Call Reproductive Health Uganda toll free 0800299003 for any services or Information on family planning.

In-schools, we are spreading age appropriate sexuality education information while in the communities out side schools, our partners Reproductive Health Uganda are offering free SRHR services and information including counseling, this whole week.
