Drs on duty live

With great sadness, I have learnt of the untimely passing of our comrade Okwai James Wasoti aka Kabogo who has worked with our security team since the Kyadondo Parliamentary campaign in 2017.
When we started the People Power Movement and eventually NUP, he took over as head of the gate security, a duty he has held until yesterday.

It is a very, very painful day at the National Unity Platform. May his soul rest in peace.

HE. Bobi Wine "Last night, we visited the streets of Kampala to share some food with our people who are homeless. Only those who have slept hungry for lack of food or slept on the street before would understand the pain which these people go through every day. We thought it was important to share with them the first supper of the new year and give them words of encouragement. It is also important to raise their plight, because they end up on the streets for different reasons. Such people must be thought about as we plan and strive to build a nation where all citizens live in dignity."

Let me take this opportunity to thank everyone that participated in the primaries process! It was indeed a tight race but all in all, the process was accomplished and Hon.Zahrah is the winner!

Congratulations to you councillor Zahrah. Am exceedingly certain that you have the capacity to steer the city hall meetings, guide proper legislation with focus on the key issues that are troubling Kampala Citizens, without forgetting the change agenda, NUP upholds until the whole country is liberated. We all know,that our city (Sitting room) of Uganda is under total dismay, requiring a total reboot!

I request all NUP and other councillors to support our flag bearer to successfully take over this seat in unity as its our DNA! Its time for service indeed!
