Isn't 'it funny how we expect to grow and see things change for the better but not want to put in any effort?

Recently I have been learning about what makes us become better as people... If you have an education that at least gives you a chance to know how to read and write I would really advise you join me in this new lifestyle of personal development.
It is very rewarding to invest in yourself; what I mean is that time you are spending on other people and their interests, if you turned it around and invested it in yourself, that would be the best self love.

Learn to adopt the reading culture, not novels but educational books, spiritual growth books...like Flushes of Thought, Richest man in Babylon, seven habits of highly effective people and a lot more...

Get a gym membership and a friend to force you to commit and inspire you to keep going.

Get a mentor, could be someone in your church but let it be someone who has achieved things you wish to achieve all round.... And know that they are human and can make mistakes..but follow that area they thrive in and listen to learn more

Have one church or listen to one spiritual leader and do not mix yourself up. Adopt one doctrine and thrive there, this requires you to ask for God's guidance and also to invest time to research more, your spiritual growth is important.

Do not eat a lot..😂 .. I know it's weird but try to control yourself when it comes to food. This is another way to achieve maturity both spiritual and teaches us self-control as well.

Have one partner and aim for matrimony. Focus on
Purpose when it comes to relationships. This will keep you in check and intentional with every step you take.

Go back for another course... A masters or learn something new, like a skill you've never thought of, something to challenge you and help you change your mindset.

Otherwise invest in reading .... There's treasure in that habit, trust me you will not regret it.

HAVE PURPOSE TO THE KNOWLEDGE YOU COLLECT!!

Knowledge is not bad, it's not bad to know a lot of things, about the entertainment industry, about the war in Gaza, about the history of china, about the old things in your country about anything you'd name. The only problem Is if this knowledge is useless to you, when it serves no purpose to you.
Have you ever seen a man, who's old, and knows too much, but very poor and has nothing to his name, But really knowledgeable, isn't it a shame?

Well it's good to know a lot, but how useful is it to you? Is it useful in your line of business, is it useful in sharpening your skill, in improving your relationship with God, it should all come back to the end of helping you grow in an area that you are able to be fruitful.
Knowing too much, and saying it, without fruit is falsehood, it's too shaming.
Well all that aside, what is your source of knowledge? Is it social media, YouTube, a random book, because the source really matters a lot in this journey.
Otherwise if we focus more on what we need and what builds us, and mind our businesses, we really grow, and have fruit. For example if you're a decorator like me, find out and research about the best decorators, the new ideas in the market, the books written in line of that, expand to interior decor, the economy, the best countries with decor items, how to make them at home, the physics in decor etc.....

Is what you collect as knowledge useful to you?
Is that knowledge helpful to you? Does It have fruit in your life??
Knowledge without purpose is awaste!

PERSONAL JOURNEY

There journeys in life that only we take, we should take them alone because those are what determines our maturity. These journeys could be a decision you should make solely, or a step you should take without inquiring from any human aside from your God, these paths we take alone make the differences and the unique parts about us.
What paths have you taken alone lately, that you knew you alone had to take without anyone dictating.
Could be getting out of a toxic relationship.
Quitting that job and choosing to start your own venture.
Could be proposing to your woman.
Could be discovering your true calling in God.
Such things do not require any other person to interrupt, it should be something your sure about, and only you can make this happen ALONE.
Learn to stand and make your own decisions especially concerning the future that you'd like to see.
Life is a Blanc page, everyday we choose what to write. Write well!!

A little personal advice!
Stop slaving away in people’s lives hoping that they shall help you someday.... stop hoping to find help from people wake up and be independent!!
One who will help you out( genuinely) will do it and you won’t need to keep slaving. They won’t need to first work you out!
Stop wasting time with such and look within you, you have so much potential. Start something up and fix your time and skills on it than slaving away... “vva kubantu”
God has got you, trust Him and you shall see the wonders He has prepared for you!

MATURITY

What is your definition of maturity?

For me maturity is what you achieve from independence, when you work hard to stand on your own, that journey trains you, it gives you the true experience that you need to mature.

Always be proud of every mile stone, don't be hard on yourself, that road to independence is all you need to be truly mature! Take it step by step.
You learn not to lean on anyone, not to trust so much, all this comes within that journey.

If your still dependant on anyone for anything, ask God for the grace to break off that dependency and become phenomenal.

Dependency causes humiliation, familiarity, limited self confidence...you don't need all that. God is the only one you should depend on, there's power in that.

IT GETS EASIER

I want to tell you it gets easier, whatever you are going through, however tough it is, remember it gets easier as long as you are doing something about it.

If you have anxiety, it's only because you are paying attention to the dark side of life, try positivity, try gratitude ( you are doing something about it) it will get easier day by day.

If you don't know how tomorrow will be, look at God, leave all that worry to him, think of anything creative, try learning more to aid you in your work, have hope, believe in your work and don't forget to believe in God ( you are doing something about it)it will get easier.

If you don't feel appreciated in that relationship, focus on you, because you in the end have yourself to look at, focus on what makes you happy, stay positive about life ( you are doing something about it) it will get easier.

Whatever situation you are going through, remember it gets easier, life doesn't move from hard to hard, it gets softer because you are taking steps. Believe in whatever you are doing it will get better.

Always remember your mile stones, have those moments in your mind always, and appreciate everything. Because nature attractions add more to more, if you are very thankful, it will give you more to be thankful about. If you are not, you will attract exactly that.

THE POWER OF POSITIVE THINKING!

How many times have you come across the heading up there?

Have you ever considered trying it out?

Positive thinking is the biggest step one can ever make to become successful in life and truly happy.
It begins with the little steps, be positive about the next minute, the next hour, the next day make it a life style to believe in yourself and your ability. Never fill your mind with negativity whatsoever. Always know you are more than a conquerer, you are a success, your next minute, hour, day, month, year....is all good and God is in control, because He is, He said He is and trust me He never lies.
Once you believe in that, once you practice it, you will start seeing why everyone that does it testifies about it.
Positive thinking makes the universe open up to you, remember you are a ruler of the universe, what you show it is what will come to you, show it that you are happy, you will become even more happy, show it you are rich by giving and you shall receive more with faith.

Stop using words like I won't make money tomorrow, I am broke, I won't be able to find a mate etc.. because your tongue creates exactly that. When you say I am rich, I can afford that, I never fail.... The universe will continue to provide exactly that.

Believe In your identity in God, you are a ruler, your portion on Earth is wealth, health and all goodness in abundance. You are more than a conquerer!
