IPOETRY- FOR PALLISA-MBALE CLUSTER DEBATE, LEADERSHIP AND LITERARY TRAINING AND CHAMPIONSHIP

It's worth noting that the term "poem" is derived from the Greek poiema which means to create. It is used only twice in the New Testament to refer to two of God's magnificent works. Thus, God is the almighty poet who has created two great masterpieces artistic creations of astounding intricacy and beauty. Along with the diverse themes and subjects, a poet can display a great deal of poetic prowess in their performances to the glory of God--the Master Poet.
With their eye-catching smartness,memorization abilities, verbal and nonverbal communication, and a plethora of audio and visual graphics as explained in the subsequent chapters of this book, a poet can demonstrate that everything on the earth, beneath, in the heavens, and in heaven; living and non-living; is an amazing product of God's creative premeditation and inventive skill, which is now fully manifest in us!

All the insightful poems to be performed by the participants during this Championship will be culled distinctively from this great book: "IPOETRY!"

Thenuel Debate and Literary Fronesis-TDELF on Uganda Catholic Television - UCTV

Our debate facilitator and judge-Tayebwa Desire yesterday participated in a UCTV talk show in Kampala, discussing wetlands conservation and environmental protection.

He highlighted the significance of the upcoming Youth Debate and Literary Championship, scheduled for May 2025 at Kyambogo College School , which will focus on social justice, quality education, and cultural sustainability. During the show, he emphasized the importance of protecting water catchment areas and the future of solar energy in Uganda. Our organization, TDELF, is part of the United Nations Development Programme - UNDP Uganda Youth Working Group on Climate and Biodiversity, empowering young climate activists nationwide, it is also a Uganda National Commission for unesco/icesco - Unatcom Club and works with several other stakeholders including Compassion International Uganda , Compassion International , African Church Empowerment Ministries , National Environment Management Authority (NEMA) Uganda and so on.

Additionally, TDELF has composed diverse poetry on climate issues, presented position papers at COP28 and COP29, and consistently raises awareness about wetlands and climate-related Sustainable Development Goals.

We appreciate the schools and stakeholders which have collaborated with us in these vital initiatives.

MOTION: AFRICA SHOULD EMBRACE TRADITIONAL MEDICINES FOR A BETTER PUBLIC HEALTH;
"...While Africa boasts a rich heritage of traditional medicines, it is crucial to recognize the potential pitfalls of endorsing practices that lack rigorous scientific validation. The healthof our population should not be a playground for anecdotal evidence and superstitution. Are we willing to gamble our citizen's health on remedies that have been rooted more in folklore than in science?..."

THE ROLES DEBATE TRAINER FACILITATORS PLAY IN DEBATE AND LITERARY ENGAGEMENTS
We give the debate learners deeper understanding of the relevance and significance of debate from the archaic past, and modern and current world. By this I mean;
How the great philosophers of Plato, Aristotle and so on weighed, analyzed and criticized, and or supplemented each other’s ideologies and theories.
-How the controversies thereof were used as a basis for theses in the realm of academia up to date,
-How the controversies begot truthful and long-lasting resolutions which have become axioms, principles and laws used in policy making in diverse political and leadership realms till date.
They explain the Biblical perspective of debate; By this I mean;
-Acknowledging the Law of Moses and Grace of Jesus as the two pivotal controversies in the Christian Faith.
-Showing how Jesus was criticized by Sadducees, Pharisees and teachers of the Law for breaking the law; and of course how Jesus dealt with them.

We are grateful to the great team that has vividly redefined the aspect of debate in this 21st Century.
