Hello Doctor.
I have a swelling in my breast. I have recently identified it after watching self breast examination technique on social media. it pains little and somehow reddish. I have no one in our family with cancer. Is it possible that this can be cancerous?
Answer.
What you have called a swelling is probably a breast lump. any breast lump of any kind definitely requires evaluation for cancerous growth.
However most lumps are benign in nature, meaning they are not cancerous. Please visit our facility or near by medical center for more investigations and specialized examination to rule out a possibility of cancer.
