I took off Friday morning about 6:45am to work in Wisconsin for the weekend. As much as I am not an early bird I was awake and figured it was time to hit the road. I was afforded the opportunity to have this view most of my way through SD and MN. It really settled within me how lucky I am to have lived in SD my entire life. I used to think that was lame and boring, haha. But to have an open sky, earth, see the moon and stars, sunrises and sunsets really is magnificent.
Last night we went to “Sonic Bloom” for the Spring Equinox. Sister Starborn from We The Starborn had a beautiful and unique event. She created music related to the chakra system (which can be found on Spotify) she then added in Crystal singing bowls and a guided meditation. She also had video projections through the duration of different colors, crystals, nature, flowers, insects, ect. I have never been to an event like this and highly recommend it to everyone.
Huge love and thank you to Heather for always hosting me, taking me to great restaurants, events and my every trip stop to the Taylor’s Falls Bead Store. Another thank you to everyone who came for a Thai session. I love hearing how great everyone feels, hearing things they noticed since their last session, meeting new clients and hearing “I’ll be back!”
Spring is coming. Change, release, renewal. Take time to see and appreciate the truly simple and beautiful things around you. Show and share gratitude for your blessings. When we acknowledge them we receive more of them.

The body never forgets. For the parentified daughter turned adult with an autoimmune disease, this truth cuts deep. The body keeps score. Sleepless nights spent soothing a parent’s rage, stomach knots from walking on eggshells, the guilt of surviving rather than thriving—these aren’t just anecdotes. They’re biological blueprints. Studies reveal familial autoimmune patterns and the toll of parental mental illness, but rarely do we name the missing link, a child’s nervous system, marinated in survival mode, becomes an adult body buckling under the weight of unprocessed trauma.

To every woman told her pain is ‘all in her head’: Your body is not lying. Your fatigue, flares, and unexplained aches are not flaws—they’re evidence. Proof of the invisible labour you were forced to bear, the love you were denied, the childhood stolen in service of her ego.

Healing begins when we rewrite the script. It starts with laying down the weight you were never meant to carry. Prioritise rest without guilt. Set boundaries that honour your limits. Nurture your nervous system like the precious, battered gift it is. Your diagnosis isn’t a life sentence—it’s a mandate to reclaim your health, your time, your self.

You weren’t born to be her caretaker. You were born to thrive. Let this be your permission slip, put yourself first. The cycle ends here.

What a fantastic weekend. We had 8 ladies for day 1 and 7 ladies for day 2 of Reiki training. 12 people volunteered their time and experience over several hours.
A huge thank you to Margaret, Rachel, Tom, Taylor, Audra, Zach, Julie, Estelle, Tomee, Jason, Sam and Michelle for joining us and giving people the opportunity to tap into their power, learn and grow. Your support and encouragement is invaluable.
Many THANKS to Megan, Laurie, Mandi, Amy, Shannon, Jessie, Christina, Ashley and Ashley for allowing me to be a part of this journey. We had some really amazing emotional breakthroughs, laughs, confirmations and clarity on so many things. Being able to see the lightbulb click, the smiles and excitement form, the tears move the fear and the deep breaths bring in confidence bring me so much joy and happiness.
THANK YOU to all 21 of you for sharing space and moving energy. For learning, laughing and sharing in such a beautiful experience.

I was able to catch the sunset Sunday morning and wanted to share it.

Day 1 of Level 1 Training is in the books!! We had a crew of 9 fantastical magical ladies on International Women’s Day. We enjoyed some sunlight, great conversation and learned so much about Reiki basics.
We have a packed day tomorrow as well and can’t wait to connect with all of the volunteers coming in to help walk with us through this experience. Training weekends are always my fave. 🥰🥰
