Coming to Heart to Heart this week!
I’ve created mask sprays with some of my favorite essential oils. These sprays will be available at the salon for a small fee ($1).
If we are gonna wear these things for the long haul, they should at least smell good!😂😉🥳
Well things have been moving along very well since we returned to work. All protocols of sanitation are still in place and will remain that way until lifted by the proper authorities. If you have not heard from your stylist yet please give them a call or call the salon to schedule your appointments. Thank you all for being so patient through these new times that we are all facing. Stay Safe!
I wanted to take a minute to say thank you to the stylists and clients that have adhered to the new guidelines this week since the salon reopened. It has been a very smooth week and easy on every one involved. If you have not heard from your stylist yet please be patient. We will be calling as soon as possible to schedule your appointment.
Please watch this video as a little preview of your next appointment in the shop.
A video of how things may look at the shop now. Hopefully not for too long.

6. All coats, purses and personal items must be kept on your lap under your cape. No personal items may be placed on station or floor.
You must agree to contact us immediately if you test positive with the Covid-19 virus after recently receiving a service in this salon.
The above guidelines have been set by the CDC and the Maryland Board of Cosmetology. We have been directed to abide by them in order to remain open.
Your hairstylist will be contacting you as soon as she possibly can.
Thank you for your understanding.
We will be opening this coming week with a limited opening. There is no need to call your stylist. We will call you. Bear with us, we have a lot of catching up to do. I will post later the new guidelines that we will require of our clients. Please be patient.
A note from Tiffany... your Heart to Heart Massage Therapist.
Greetings Clients and Friends,
As many of you know your beloved stylists will be returning to the salon in a few short days. Their capacity to serve will be different for some time as we embrace the changes necessary to navigate through this tumultuous season.
As a massage therapist it is so important to me to care for my clients well being along with my own. Unfortunately, the Governor has not allowed massage services to resume at this point. Please know that as much as this saddens me, I am taking the extra time to create protocols and prepare for a new normal in the way that I encounter each client.
Thank you for your patience with the stylists as they tread through uncharted waters and thank you for your patience with me as I wait for the opportunity to serve you again.

I found this on a fellow hairstylist page and wanted to share this with you all.
It just gives us all some things to think about as we prepare to open:
From a concerned hairstylist
To my clients:
They say we can open on Friday. I have mixed emotions about this. They promised us unemployment but I’ve been unable to get through on the site to even apply. Now they want me to come back to work, work 8 to 10 hour days at only 50%. That means I can only help 50% of you at 50% of my pay. How can that even pay my bills? How do I choose who come first? Do I call those who I had to cancel when this all started? They’ve given me no safety guidelines for me or for you. Sometimes I feel as if we are being the guinea pigs - just open up the salons during phase 1
to see if they sink or swim during this pandemic.
I love and miss you all and I want to get back to work, but I’m scared - what if the people sitting in my chair aren’t honest about where they’ve been, what if they’re sick and I end up taking it home to my family? If this happens then I’ll be out of work for God knows how long.
So when you sit in my chair please know how glad I am to see you again, how glad I am to be doing my job again but also know and think about the stress and anxiety that is on my shoulders. Please help me to have the upbeat and positive relationship with you that we’ve enjoyed in the past. I know I’ll do my part. Will you?
We have just heard that we are able to open friday after 5:00.
We will not be opening until Monday 5/18/20.
We have not recieved as of yet, the guide-lines that we need in order to open.
We will need this time to prepare and also to call our clients to schedule.
Please there is no need to contact your stylist at this time. We will be calling to schedule, however remember we can only open at 50 percent. We have to all understand that this will be very hard on us all.
Thank you again for your patience.
We first want to say that we miss you all terribly. This has been a trying time for us all. As the time gets closer to us hopefully being allowed to re-open, we need you to understand a few things.
Please understand that we have not been given a date of reopening as of yet. We also are not sure of all of the safety guidelines. We do know when we are able to start seeing clients, we will ask that if you are feeling sick or running a temperature that you contact your stylist to reschedule. Your safety and your stylist’s safety is our top priority. You will be required to wear a protective mask during your entire time in the salon. We will also be required, to follow these new safety precautions and possibly have to wear a face shield and gloves during your appointment.
Limitations to the amount of people allowed in the salon is another concern. We may be required to open with one stylist and one client at a time, or possibly 2 stylist and 2 clients (one each). It also may be limited to a certain number of people in the building. We just don’t know at this time.
This is greatly going to decrease the number of clients that we can see in a day or even a week. We have 7 stylists to consider and this is our lively-hood.
We ask that you be patient and we will notify you as the governor lifts our restrictions. We are all in this together. We would like to get everyone in for an appointment ASAP but we will need your patience and understanding as we contact you and have to make changes to both your schedule and ours.
Happy Mother's Day to all of the special Moms out there...we miss you all!

Thank you for your understanding.
