Cadence is joining us as an assistant to our amazing Cosmetology instructors, and we are so excited to have her! We know she is going to be such a wonderful addition to our team and an incredible support to our students.

Okayyy, little life/business update! 😂🫶🏼

I’ll start with the bad news: I probably won’t be taking clients as soon as I originally expected. I’m still waiting for all of my documents to be processed, and until everything is officially squared away, I can’t operate in my space.

So basically… I’m still playing the waiting game. 😭 But I’m doing everything I can on my end to keep things moving because the goal is to be legally operable. This process has taught me to have the patience of a saint 😅😂

Now for the GOOD news! 🥹 I’ll be going back to my roots and working at L&L Beauty Institute where I graduated from. I will be an Assistant Cosmetology Instructor!

I’ll be there part time to assist my former cosmetology instructors with students and anything else that is needed of me!

I’m super grateful for the opportunity and excited to keep my brain and my hands busy while I wait for my business to get the green light! 💚

A little over 3 years ago, I signed a lease on the space that would become L&L Beauty Institute, having absolutely no idea if it was going to work.

I just knew I had a vision, a lot of faith, and I was willing to work as hard as I possibly could to make it happen.

That building watched L&L grow from an idea into something bigger than I ever could have imagined. It held our very first students, so many graduations, countless long days and late nights, mistakes, lessons, tears, laughter, and some of the biggest milestones of my life.

What started as me taking a chance on a dream became a place that has helped hundreds of students begin careers and chase dreams of their own.

A few days ago, I locked those doors for the very last time.

It’s bittersweet saying goodbye to the place where it all started, but I’m so incredibly grateful for every single person who walked through those doors and became a part of our story.

Now, we get to turn the page. 🤍

The next time our students walk through the doors of L&L, it will be into a brand-new facility built for everything we’ve grown into and everything we’re still becoming.

Three years ago, I had no idea if any of this would work.

Today, I know that taking that chance changed my life.

Goodbye to the building that started it all. Here’s to the next chapter of L&L✨

And if there’s one piece of advice I could give anyone, it’s this:

Chase your dreams. Dream BIG. Take the chance, even when you’re scared. Work for it, believe in it, and don’t let anyone convince you that your dream is too big. I believe in YOU!

WE’RE HIRING — FRONT DESK POSITION

L&L Beauty Institute is looking for a friendly, dependable, and professional individual to join our team at the front desk!

Schedule:
Monday–Wednesday
9:00 AM–2:00 PM

Start Date: September 21

Responsibilities will include:

Greeting and checking in clients
Checking clients out and processing payments
Answering basic client questions
Helping maintain a clean and organized front desk/reception area
Light cleaning and tidying throughout the day
Assisting students and staff as needed
Providing a welcoming, professional experience for everyone who enters the school

We’re looking for someone who is reliable, organized, personable, and comfortable working in a busy beauty-school environment.
