MEET TASHA!

Tasha just traded her “across the mountain” Appalachian roots in NC for her husband’s native ones here in Southwest Virginia — and she’s ready to bring the same creativity, integrity, and 15+ years of experience to her new home here in Abingdon.

For Tasha, a great color or cut has never been about a trend — it’s about a transformation. She’s walked clients through every season of change (and a few of her own: blonde, brunette, currently red), always with the goal of making sure they leave feeling seen, cared for, and confident. Hair health and long-term results aren’t an afterthought for her — they’re the whole point.

That same investment in people — PTA, PTO, her community — shows up the moment you sit in her chair. You’re not just a client to Tasha; you’re someone she’s genuinely pulling for.

Whether you’re after a full transformation or just a refresh, Tasha believes it should always add up to more than just amazing hair.

She’s also a licensed real estate agent in NC and VA (TN coming soon), because helping people feel confident about where they live is just as close to her heart as helping them feel confident in the mirror.

After taking time away from the salon to be a stay-at-home mom, I’m so excited to be back where my creativity thrives—behind the chair at The Color Lounge. While I loved every minute of that season, I realized how much I missed the artistry, connection, and confidence that comes from helping someone fall in love with their hair.

With 30 years behind the chair and experience as a former Paul Mitchell educator, I bring decades of technical knowledge paired with a passion for creating modern, effortless hair. I specialize in lived-in color that grows out beautifully, dimensional color, balayage, and accent highlights that add natural brightness and movement. I also specialize in brow mapping, shaping, and tinting to help frame and enhance your features.

Haircuts are where my creative side really shines. Whether you’re after a textured s**g, curtain fringe, a modern mullet, something edgy, or a classic shape with a fresh twist, I love creating cuts that reflect your personality and fit your lifestyle.

When I’m not behind the chair, you’ll usually find me trying a new restaurant, planning my next adventure, spending time near the water, getting my hands dirty in the garden, tackling another craft project, or making memories with my family.

I’m thrilled to be back at The Color Lounge and can’t wait to welcome both new and familiar faces into my chair.
