"My" dancers 😊 are the best and are making a positive impact in our community!

Tomorrow during Monday's class, I plan to present a donation check from our line dancers to the Acton Congregational Church, Acton, Maine for the much needed new banquet tables for their hall. We are so grateful for the support of the church members this past autumn, winter and spring.

Dancers this summer at Iron Tails Saloon have been donating toward a fund to be given to the The Kita Center. These funds will be presented at a class this month.

I will be doing a bonus dance again after class at the beginning of open dance, soooo stick around!!

I will review "Choosin' Texas" from last week by breaking it down.

I am also thinking of "Achy, Breaky Heart". Some from my class may remember it, but I am surprised that many don't know this oldie but goodie. Stomping and clapping are involved!

Well, last night at Iron Tails Saloon, we showed everyone that we can make some noise! Thank you for sharing my passion to show line dancing can be accessible to everyone (and yes, you can dance when sitting!). And we are getting closer to the $1,000 mark for our donations to the Kita Center!

And also some good news -- we will be dancing at Iron Tails through the first Monday in October. 🎉
