Balayage or “hair painting” honestly is not my favorite technique to do. But none-the-less I’ve learned how to do it! I guess you CAN teach an old dog a new trick.

It's amazing how things have changed since my last post of 2020 where I was talking about how much I LOVE referrals! But as I have entered a new year, my priorities have changed and things have been put into perspective for me more than they ever have before.

So, after almost 37 years as a Hair Stylist I am going to do something I never thought I would have to do.

First, I want to thank ALL of you who have referred people to me throughout the years, because the ONLY way I have gotten where I am today is through your referrals!

That being said, because I have extended my appointment times for a better quality experience, AND to preserve time for all my loyal clients (that's YOU) I am going to have to close my book to new clients.

There are not enough hours in my work day/work week to accommodate every person that calls me and as sad as that makes me (because let's face it, I am a people pleaser) I am going to have to say no to new clients.

Again, thank you for the YEARS of referrals! Now if people ask who your stylist is you'll just have to tell them the truth...which is this.

That I am finally trying to use my BEST YES and I am content with the amount of people I serve.

Number one. I LOVE REFERRALS! And number two, this sweet client didn’t really know what she wanted so after a few questions and a lengthy conversation I knew she was seeking dimension without going too dark. She does her roots in between sessions with a professional, so I gave her a look she could touch-up without it effecting the rest. Swipe left for the before pictures!

Warming it up for the winter solstice! Loved adding some warm low-lights to this lovely ladies hair today! Low-lights are a great way to add a little dimension without totally covering up all your blonde!

In a year where no one really knows what’s going on from day to day there has been one constant that I always know I can rely on. My clients. Ending this season so incredibly grateful for each and every one of you. I am one thankful gal! Y’all are the Christmas present that keeps on giving! Love you all!

“I think I want something different. Maybe darker?” Okay! Highs and lows to break up the blonde and a little base break to blend the gray. Loved doing this transformation 🙂
