Between the Shears would not be what it is without the incredible women standing beside me. Thank you for showing up, working hard, believing in my vision, and helping make our grand opening more amazing than I ever could have imagined.

Building a business takes so much more than one person, and I’m incredibly grateful to have each of you as part of this journey. We each bring something different to the salon, but together, we make one pretty amazing team.

I’m so proud of what we’re building and even more excited about where we’re going. I love you girls, and I’m so thankful you’re mine! 💗

I am still overwhelmed with gratitude after the amazing turnout for our grand opening and ribbon cutting. Seeing our clients, friends, fellow business owners, and members of the Acworth community come together to celebrate this milestone meant more to us than we could ever express.

A very special thank-you to Mayor Allegood, Alderman Prather, Alderwoman Haase, Alderman Houston, the City of Acworth team, and the Acworth Business Association for officially welcoming Between the Shears into the community and making our ribbon cutting so memorable.

Thank you to everyone who attended, supported us, shared our event, and helped make the day such an incredible success. We are honored to be part of this wonderful city and so excited for everything ahead!

Yesterday, the world lost an icon, but Dolly Parton’s legacy reaches far beyond the big hair, rhinestones, and unforgettable music.

She was a woman who built the whole thing herself. She knew who she was, understood her worth, and never made herself smaller to make anyone else comfortable. Yet beneath all that sparkle was a heart of gold; kind, generous, humble, and always looking for ways to lift others.

As a hairstylist and a woman building a business of my own, I can’t help but admire the way she turned what others called “too much” into something unmistakably hers.

Thank you for the music, the laughter, the lessons, and, of course, the hair. 🤍

We’re pretty lucky to have a career that lets us be creative, build real friendships, and help people feel like themselves again. Loving what we do and the people we get to do it for. It’s definitely kinda chic. ✂️✨
