Happy “Gotcha Day,” G! What a ride it has been!
17 years ago today - we got the call we’d been dreaming of - expecting it to be about baby Collin. I was elated when the adoption agency said - “it’s not Collin - it’s a baby girl!”
God had another plan 🙏🏻
In true God fashion is was SPOT ON! You were made of us! Sweet girl - we love you so much.

Quinn prayed for you daily & NEVER wavered- he wanted a baby sister! He wanted YOU🤍

Daddy and I … well we were a little more guarded as we had our hearts 💔 several times before you completed our family. The day I got the call that we had been chosen to be your forever family ~ my heart was racing, I couldn’t find your daddy, my head was swirling & all I wanted was YOU! Fast forward several hours - we were on the road to pick you up🤍! The weather was horrible, we were nervous (not Q he was confident - he said, “I told you so - I KNEW I’d have a sister)! Tears steaming down my face - I said, “you sure did, honey!”

Of course there was paperwork to sign & honestly; It was hard to concentrated because you were in the next room. So, our amazing adoption agency took Quinn into the next room to be the 1st to meet his sister! Next thing we knew - Q was carrying her & was the one to give G to us. He looked at us and said. “Here is Gracie!” With the BIGGEST smile you could ever imagine on a sweet boys face - he was so proud!

So today - I am taking another moment, like I do every year, & lifting up G’s birth parents in prayer,love and thankfulness. She is a gift like no other & we are so proud to have been chosen .

What a blessing adoption is - we can’t imagine our lives without you, G! Happy Gotcha Day!
God has big plans for you - now go out & do it - giving him the glory!

Can’t wait for our next adventure ~ until then LIGHT IT UP! Baby girl, you’re going places!
