I see so much confusion online about structured gel vs builder gel and it’s the same thing! 🤪 I switched my “structured gel manicures” to “builder gel manicures” because I was getting so many messages asking if I do builder gel. They’re both umbrella terms for a gel overlay. You’re adding structure on a nail or building strength to a nail. 💅🏻

I feel like confusion really started to happen when nail techs started listing their products as their service. Example: BIAB mani, or Luminary mani, or the one that really gives me ptsd is SHELLAC mani.

It is our job to EDUCATE our clients on the services/products that we provide 🙂🙂🙂

when you book a builder gel manicure with me I have FOUR different products that I can try on you to see what works best because everyone’s nails are NOT the same. The best part is I will figure out which product will work best for you so you don’t have to do any guessing work.

Soft gel that I love:
- “Kiara Sky builder” gel was my 1st love and she is still so good!!
- “Kokoist platinum filler” has been a staple for me. She’s a semi-hard gel so a little more strength than a typical soft gel but she also soaks off so we love that for easy removal

Hard gel:
- “Light Elegance” is my favorite for building out length and repairing broken nails. the fiber line is chefs kiss 💋
- “American creator framework” IS SO GOOD. I WILL HAVE THIS IN STOCK FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE.
