A message to all of my clients 🫶🏼

It saddens me to say that I now have to take my medical leave sooner, rather than later. I am so thankful that I had the opportunity to get to know each and every one of you. My clients will forever hold such a special place in my heart. I will miss each and every one of you. 💝💝💝

I know you all will be expeditiously well taken care of by the other stylist at . 💝

Sending my thoughts and prayers to Michael and his family in this difficult time. And the days to come. 🫶🏼

At the funeral, the priest said something that I’ve come back to again and again:

“No one chooses to do this, the disease chooses it for them.”

At first, I didn’t fully understand, but now I see the truth in his words. My daughter didn’t choose to leave us. It was the disease—depression—that made that choice for her.

Depression warps the mind, clouds every thought, and blocks out hope. In her darkest moments, she couldn’t see a future, couldn’t see any light. It wasn’t a lack of love or strength—it was an illness too powerful to overcome.

This doesn’t take away the pain, but it softens the guilt. She did fight—harder than we could understand. But depression can be stronger than love, stronger than logic, and stronger than the will to fight.

For anyone who’s lost someone to su***de, know this: They didn’t choose to leave you. They were taken by an illness that chose for them.

We carry their memory, their love—not the pain of their disease. They fought as hard as they could.
