Let’s talk Hair Extensions:

It’s a well known thing that Extensions are ✨Expensive✨

And that’s because you get what you pay for. If you want quality hair and a quality installation you’re going to pay for it.

I recently had a very rude remark about the cost of my installation (which is still lower than industry standard). And it made me think of a very important topic that needs to be discussed.

There is more to hair extensions than “just sewing in hair..” Yes, any one can look up a YouTube video or watch Instagram and pick up the general technique. But incorrect tension on hair can cause Traction Alopecia, bald spots from incorrect extension placement. This is very common with untrained extension installations.

My first priority will always be the health of your hair. This is why I’m trained by three different brands on a handful of techniques. Extension methods are not one size fits all. I have invested in my education not for bragging rights, but so I can be confident that I am giving my guests the best possible outcome.

That’s the beauty of extensions. Not only can you add length and thickness but you can enhance your color as well.
Colored with shades Eq 3N 2M to blend and shampooed and conditioned with all soft and styled with al soft argon oil. Loving this line for my extension guests💗

✨Beaded Row Extensions.✨

Let’s clear the air. I’ve heard so many different names for this method. And I prefer to call them Beaded Row Extensions. And here is why:

•There are probably 100 different methods to apply these extensions and that can be confusing to people who have no clue about “the hair world” or it’s verbiage. I am certified in 3 different methods and apply which ever method best suits my clients lifestyle and hair type.
•I hear a lot of clients call them “handtied” which is just the type of hair that can be sewn into the *Beaded Row* foundation. The hair is a weft that is either handtied, thin and more customizable by stacking multiple wefts or machine tied, thicker and more affordable and best suited for thick hair.
•”Sew in” is another reference to this method because the wefts (weather they’re machine tied or handtied) are sewn onto the beaded row foundation. While this is very accurate, people think it’s the braided sew in and the track is not a braid. It’s a foundation/ track made from beads.

I hope this explanation helps clear up and confusion with this extension method. I know it is fairly new so theres a lot to unpack. Let me know if you have any questions in the comments and I’ll answer!

Color corrections are kind of my thing these days. But it doesn’t bother me one bit, I’m a very meticulous person and kind of a perfectionist, so I happen to enjoy them.

Hair myth- extensions are ONLY used for long hair.

My guest came to me with extensions already in her hair. I moved up her extensions by using a beaded row sew in method and she decided she wanted to switch up her look by cutting her hair to her shoulders, but still wanted her extensions for fullness.
