I am an hour from Cleveland and two hours from Columbus. What types of hair do you work on? es I will use a "locking spray" (salt water) to help with the dreading process, but otherwise, a clean dready is a happy dready! What do I need to do to make an appointment?
1. Do your research! What are you looking for in dreads? What are your expectations? Information about care and placement of dreadlocks is your friend. Good dreads, even ones placed lovingly, are not grown (locked) in a day. My favorite website for all things dreads is ragingrootsstudio.com. I couldn't have made a better educational website about dreads. :)
2. Read this FAQ (hopefully)
3. Contact me at [email protected] for an appointment. Please include a picture of the back of your head, a description of what you would like done and any questions you may have.
4. I will return your email with answers to your questions, an estimate of how much time it should take and what your deposit fee would be. Please read below about deposit fees. What if I have to change/cancel my appointment? Due to several no call/no shows, a deposit fee has been implemented to hold your appointment date.
-Deposit will be 50% of your estimated cost.
-Deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE, and will be applied to your balance when your appointment is completed. If for some reason I have to reschedule, you can choose to have your deposit refunded, or your time rescheduled.
-Deposit can be paid in person, or online.
-Deposit must be paid seven days prior to your appointment. Appointment may be offered to another person after this date.
-This is for new clients and clients that have no-showed before ONLY. Once you have had an appointment with me, I no longer need a deposit for future appointments unless you are a no show or cancel the same day in the future. Where can I see some of your work? My clients are some of the best human beings I've ever come across. Sometimes I feel like they do more for me than I have ever done for any of them. (Though, I KNOW they will all tell you otherwise. No matter how much I protest. 🥹)

From remembering I'm lactose intolerant when they bring me surprise coffees, to helping me plan my engagement, trusting me with their unbiased perspectives, and even sitting down after an appointment to do some jamming with my son...

Sure... I have my complaints about the bad apples, but I am truly blessed to have been surrounded by the kindest souls through this journey and I am incredibly grateful.

Emmah wanted to add some of her loved ones hair into her locs, but she didnt want just NORMAL extensions. Instead we wrapped, and then crochet them into place to give her locs that scene look we all wanted in 2005. (Inspired by the way the sun hit her locs through blinds)😍 🦝🤘🖤
