My lovely guest came back in for an adjustment on her color. Lighting is a key element to how the color will look. Natural light, bathroom lighting, suite lighting, etc! I got her a. It to bright around the sides and front. I went in with a root smudge “thanks spirit” and cooled down the lights to a more natural mushroom color! Thank you for using your voice. It helps me as your stylist to evolve. I am okay with sharing my downfalls. This is a human experience 🫶🏿 I got to style my lovely guest out with her curls. Best Christmas gift

My favorite hairstylist is back in my chair! When life throws acorns at you; Befriend a squirrel. They will take them off your path and turn them into breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Be Yourself at all times. .glambar had some very grown out highlights. She wanted to bring them back up, but still keep it natural. She also wanted a bold face frame. I love when she hits me up to provide self care. This is what support looks like. She could get her hair done for free at her job, but she see me. She’s taking control of her destiny and shining light into the hearts of everyone around her. She’s finally feeling safe in her workplace and is navigating her life as a WOMEN so naturally. She inspires me to be brave and courageous to accept my own identity and expression and not make others comfortable with my presence. We don’t grow in comfortability. Sister Sister! I love that another hair stylist I went to school with trust me with her hair. She trust me so much that she brings her sister as well. This is round two with both of them. I saw them about 3 or four months ago and they shared that their hair grew so much faster.
This time they both surprised me with wanting something different. First wanted to incorporate fringe with more layers and her sister wanted to go shorter! I’m excited to you to start your journey in the industry. I know being in the medical field has its perks, as a former MA myself. The beauty industry has so much to offer you.
