LEO TOTAL SOLAR ECLIPSE:
EMPOWERING OUR HEARTS

A Leo Total Solar Eclipse forms on Wednesday at 1:45pm ET, opening the eclipse vortex. If life has already been feeling intense, the next two weeks will take us even deeper into karmic compression. This is a time of magic and immense change within ourselves, our relationships, and the world. Eclipses accelerate everything they touch, speeding up our progress, purgation, and evolution. They can make us feel as though time and space have warped, or like we’ve lived months of growth in a matter of days.

This particular eclipse falls close to the South Node in Leo and kicks into motion an entirely new series of eclipses along the Leo-Aquarius axis. Over the next eighteen months, we’ll be exploring the relationship between the individual and the collective, our personal expression and concern for humanity.

The Leo Solar Eclipse empowers us to fulfill our creative visions and make the unique, authentic imprints we’re meant leave on the world. Our mantra could be: I’m doing this for me, because I love it, but it’s not about me, so I offer it. We can take real joy in what we create, and still, the gift is meant to move outward, to be of benefit beyond just ourselves.

As the outer planets continue to form major aspects to each other, we are stepping into higher frequencies, which the previous shape of our lives can no longer hold. We may feel ready to release old identities, relationships, or ways of orienting to the world, while exploring new ones.

Big shifts are also playing out societally. Old models of leadership are falling apart and transforming, while something more authentic and heart-centered is taking their place. Returning to Rishikesh is one of those moments for me. Every time I come back to these sacred mountains, I am reminded that the teachings are alive—not only in the classroom, but in the river, the silence, the community, and every breath we share together.

Over these weeks, we practice. We meditate. We chant. We laugh. We support one another. And somewhere along the way, something begins to shift. Not because we are trying to become someone else, but because we are remembering who we truly are.

Whether you feel called to teach Kundalini Yoga or simply wish to deepen your own practice, Level One is an invitation to say yes to your own unfolding.

As Yogi Bhajan taught, "My love takes me where I need to be." I trust that those who are meant to be there will find their way.
