She’s a long time client of Twist Salon. I love how beautifully her color grows out. Sometimes it’s honestly hard to even tell where the grow out is!
I hand paint her blonde so we can put the brightness exactly where we want it, while keeping it soft and dimensional.
And the best part? She only needs highlights 2–3 times a year. 🙌

Sometimes you have to try something to realize… maybe that wasn’t quite me. 🤍
Anne was ready for a change from her gray, so we got a little bold. I added darker color blocking through her beautiful natural hair, and I was OBSESSED. It felt edgy, dimensional and very rock star. 🤘
But Anne went home and realized it was a bigger change than she was ready for.
And you know what she did? She told me.
She came back in, we talked about what wasn’t feeling right, and I broke up the darker pieces with highlights and softened the ends. Now she still has that beautiful dimension, her silver and white POPS, but when she looks in the mirror, it feels like Anne again.
That’s the win. 🧡
Hair is personal. Sometimes we try something new and love it. Sometimes we realize we weren’t quite ready for it.
