I am reaching out to inform you that I will be rearranging my schedule due to an unexpected family emergency.

Earlier this month my mother tripped, fell and broke her shoulder. Thankfully her injuries are not life threatening! Unfortunately, her injuries do require ongoing care and assistance over the next few months. As her primary caregiver, I need to prioritize her well-being and ensure that she receives the care she needs during this time.
Consequently, I will be rearranging my work schedule to accommodate. This will impact my current client schedules, and future availability. These changes will ultimately affect those of you on my waitlist. I kindly ask for your understanding and flexibility during this period of adjustment. Please trust that I am committed to minimizing any inconvenience this may cause and will make every effort to reschedule appointments in a timely manner or refer clients to other Wild Orange stylists as necessary.

I will be reaching out to everyone who has an appointment this week personally to reschedule asap.

While this unexpected turn of events will be challenging, these situations provide a unique perspective on personal and professional priorities. Forcing us to step outside our comfort zones and make important decisions. I will be taking this time to develop a more well rounded, accommodating and efficient schedule. Including a more user friendly appointment booking system.

Providing you with exceptional hair and beauty care remains a top priority for me. I love my work and I’m excited to grow with you and build up Wild Orange. Thank you for your understanding, support, and cooperation during this challenging time. I look forward to continuing our work together and appreciate your patience as I navigate these unforeseen circumstances. Say Hello to Gratuity Free Hourly Pricing!

Yes, this is exciting news! Beginning Friday September 1st 2023, your hair artist, Rachel Helzer, will be introducing All Inclusive, Gratuity Free, Hourly Pricing! Hourly pricing is transparent and gender neutral. No add ons, no cash discounts, no tips, no sticker shock. You are simply paying for an all inclusive hour for your hair. A one hour block of time will be $130.00.

The key to a great salon experience is communication. Before you start feeling anxious about the price of your next appointment, reach out so we can create a game plan that meets your hair needs while respecting your spending plan.
I will not be offering discounts on services, but I will always work with your budget. You do not need to explain the details to me, but if there is a specific time frame or budget we need to keep your services within I am very happy to accommodate that. Your budget may be different depending on the day, and that's alright. Accommodating your budget can look like finding lower maintenance options so you can extend the time between appointments, or exploring new options within your budget for that day so that you leave the salon looking fresh without any spending regrets.

All services are included in the hourly blocks. This means you will no longer be booking a la carte services like “haircuts”, “root touch ups” or “highlights”, they will not be listed on the new menu. The booking menu will now offer hourly options = 1 hour, 1 ½ hour, 2 hour and so on.
If you get multiple services you need multiple hours.
Here are some helpful examples of what services are suited for different blocks of time;

1 hour block of time- Haircuts. Blow Outs. Scalp massage, deep conditioning, shine glosses and refreshing toners.

1 ½ hour block of time - Long haircuts. Root touch ups with a blow dry. Haircuts with a scalp treatment or deep conditioner.

2 hour block of time - Cut + color. Longer haircuts and styling. A few foils, a deep conditioner and a blowout.

3 hour block of time - ALL Blonding and Vivid Color Starts HERE

4 hour block of time - Blonding and Vivid Color plus Haircut

5 + hours should be blocked for color changing projects. If it has been over 4 months since your last hair color service. If you have multiple color projects you want to have done in one salon visit. Please reach out to me for a consultation.

Online booking will be unavailable for 2 weeks August 18th - September 1st 2023 for schedule maintenance.
Please reach out to me via text or square messaging if you need to reschedule in the next 2 weeks. You will be able to book new future appointments in September. Pre booked services will be honored at their original prices until Wednesday November 1st.
