I was asked to participate in a crazy performance art of an evening in Napa at my pal, Judd's wonderul bar, The Fink. It was indeed beautiful chaos. A comedian, a bon vivant, a hairdresser and a member of Devo walk into a bar...
The evening was the punchline! We all had a laugh an no blood was spilled! A whacky fun night!

Johnny: Here’s The Fink, but our star of the evening is a musician, songwriter, singer, published poet, icon of four-stringed instruments, and yes, should you be wondering, a professional hair stylist. She is a founding member of the seminal Reno-based punk band, The Wrecks, as well as founding and current member of the band whose music we’ll be listening to during our main event, Imperial Teen. Today’s honorary first snip will be performed by an artist, musician, director, and social influencer before that was even a term. A man who has been ahead of the curve in sound, sights, and fashion, for more than 50 years. He’s about to embark on a springtime tour with his band DEVO, but we’ve got him here today… put your hands together for Gerald Casale!

It's been a couple of months already and I realize that I've neglected introducing the newest team member at Honey, Suki! She is a tiny toy poodle mix who's about 8 yrs old. She was in a high kill shelter that was so overcrowded they had put her in with the cats. She was really scared and nervous so she was bitey.. Needless to say, I think her time was limited... A wonderful rescue called Dogwood Animal Rescue (https://dogwoodanimalrescue.org/dogwood-animal-rescue-project/ ) pulled her from this potentially grim situation. I was tagged in the fb posts about her by friends and tho the timing was horrible, I decided to go for it and bring her home. She is a really sweet girl and I'm working with her on trusting new people - she's doing a really good job! I look forward to seeing her blossom even more as she becomes more and more secure in the fact that she is safe and loved. Welcome Suki!!!
