i love hearing that your jaw pain is gone, your skin is healthier, your headaches have improved, or that you finally feel rested after a treatment.
but today i want to talk about something else.
here are 14 things i’ve learned from my clients:
1) it is never too late to start over.
2) aging is a privilege, not a tragedy.
3) the world is much safer and kinder than the news would have us believe.
4) hobbies are not a luxury. they make life richer.
5) friendship is one of the best investments you’ll ever make.
6) taking care of your body in your 30s and 40s pays off in your 70s and 80s.
7) women should be able to support themselves.
8) finding the right partner is one of life’s greatest advantages.
9) difficult seasons always end.
10) investing in your children’s future is one of the most important investments you’ll ever make.
11) there is always another place to explore and another adventure waiting.
12) everyone is fighting a battle you know nothing about.
13) gratitude comes naturally when you realize everything is relative.
14) sometimes the best life advice comes during a facial.
and one bonus lesson:
15) never say never. thanks to my clients, i eat oysters again. 😆
thank you for sharing your stories with me all these years. they have shaped me in ways you’ll never know. ❤️

to some people, seeing an esthetician regularly may feel unnecessary.
just “self care”, relaxation, or a luxury.
but let me say something very important.
sometimes estheticians are the first people to notice that something is wrong.
an unusual mole.
a suspicious discoloration.
an abnormal growth.
enlarged lymph nodes or thyroid area.
changes in the skin that should not be ignored.
over the years, i have had many moments where i told clients:
“please get this checked.”
and yes, sometimes it turned out to be something serious.
this is why facials are not only about glow, relaxation, or anti-aging.
sometimes they are about paying attention to your health and noticing things early enough.
in a way, your esthetician can become another person quietly looking out for you 🦸♀️
You know that moment when a client is still lying on the bed, skin warm, barely finished the treatment - and they turn to you and say "I'm sending my friends to you."
I don't think people realize what that does to me.
It's not about growing my business.
It's not about numbers.
It's about trust 🤍

i often get asked the same question by my clients: what are your favorite eminence products?
usually, i answer: “citrus & kale potent c+e serum” and “arctic berry peptide radiance cream.”
but there are products i love beyond those two — the biodynamic collection.
what makes it so special? the plants used in this collection are grown using biodynamic farming practices — without synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, or artificial additives. it is considered the highest standard of organic cultivation available today.
when i first started working with this collection, something felt different. not just the results, but the intention behind it.
i reach for these products especially when skin feels stressed, reactive, sensitive, or simply tired. they have a way of bringing skin back into balance without overwhelming it.
for me, the biodynamic collection is more than skincare. it represents the purest, most intentional, and most vibrant approach to caring for the skin.
in a world where skincare keeps getting more complicated, this collection is a beautiful reminder that nature still does it best. 🤍

sometimes i have clients whose skin is both dehydrated and dry at the same time.
and in these cases yes, i will absolutely layer richer products at the end of the facial: hyaluronic acid serums, nourishing creams, leave-on masks, barrier repairing products.
and very often i hear:
“i hate thick products on my skin.”
i get it. truly.
but sometimes taking care of your skin is not about personal preference.
it is about giving the skin what it actually needs.
if your skin is dehydrated, tight, dull, sensitive, flaky, losing plumpness and glow… lightweight products alone usually will not fix that.
your skin is literally craving nourishment.
craving protection.
craving restoration.
and sometimes the exact products people try to avoid are the ones that can finally make the skin soft, plump, calm, dewy, and healthy again!
so if this sounds like you… reconsider it again 😈
my inner child thought we’d become a princess.
honestly… skincare studio owner is kinda close.

the majority of my clients say that facial massage relaxes them even more deeply than a full-body massage.
can you guess why?
we hold so much tension in the face, jaw, scalp, and neck without even realizing it.
and everything in the body is connected.
when certain points and muscles on the face begin to release, the body responds too.
jaw tension softens => shoulders and neck relax.
forehead and scalp work calms the nervous system.
sometimes clients even notice that their breathing becomes deeper and the whole body feels lighter afterwards.
this is why so many people leave my facial massage saying:
“i came for a facial… but left feeling like i had therapy for my whole body.”
that is one of my favorite parts of this work 🤍
