Some looks feel like a bruise you’re still touching… not to check the pain, but to remind yourself you’re still here.

There’s a blood-stained warmth in the crease, a worn-in bruise around the edges, and that cold little flash from Ice Kissed that keeps the whole thing breathing.

I used Grunge as the heartbeat of it… pressed over the lid, pulled up into Lucretia, then dragged along the lower lash the way tired love settles under your eyes.

It’s quiet. It’s heavy. But it’s still reaching for something warm… even if it knows better.

Starting February with a look that feels gentle on the surface but cuts a little deeper once you stare at it long enough. 🖤🌹

I wanted a soft but deadly mood… something that sits right between romance and ruin. Grunge all over the lid, smoked up into Lucretia, then dragged under the lower lash for that tired but powerful kind of stare I love.

Ice Phantom on the inner lower lash gave just enough glow to keep it alive… like a spark under the ashes.

This one is my second entry for Kiss Of Thorns, our dark Valentine community collab on -It’s all about using what you already own, pulling your red... berry... mauve... oxblood tones, and creating whatever your version of a bruised Valentine looks like.

🖤 Both eyes, same spell. This is the full look I created for the Kiss Of Thorns – Dark Valloween Community Collab for

Up close, this one lives in the shadows and sparkles only when it wants to.

✨ On the eyes:
🕯 Sybil all over the lid — smooth, moody, and soft enough to let the layers shine.
🌑 Magnus deep in the outer V and crease to pull everything darker and smokier.
🥀 Lucretia tucked into the inner crease to add depth without stealing focus.
❄️ Ice Kissed in the inner corner for that cold, glassy sparkle.
🖤 Grunge tightlined to keep the eyes grounded and sharp.
🌞 Midnight Sun on the lower lash, with Lucretia tucked just beneath to melt it all together.

This is the kind of look that feels quiet… but dangerous. Like something watching you back. 👁️

It’s been a minute since I posted a makeup look… August, actually.
Life got loud, business got busy, and my camera sat there staring at me like, “ma’am… hello?”

So here’s me easing back in.
No filter, no smoothing… just my face, my pores, my 48-year-old skin, and a rose-metallic lid that made me feel like myself again.

I used a bunch of my own singles because of course I did: Sybil, Magnus, Midnight Sun, Grunge, Ice Kissed, Lucretia. Sybil over Specular gives that shiny metal lid and I forgot how much I love it.

If you came here from planners, hi… this is the other half of my chaos. Makeup, spooky things, wax melts, and whatever else I get obsessed with that week.

👁️ Let’s get real close. Like zoom-in-and-stare-at-my-lid-until-you-see-the-shifts close.

This is the macro shot from my 3-pose set — and if you're here for texture, dimension, and detail, this one’s for you.

🌿 Thornshade is doing all the heavy lifting in the outer corner half— that sparkly green over a moody brown base? A forest witch’s dream.
🔥 Cinderbloom is patted across the inner half lid like wildfire — that green-to-rust-to-pink shift catches light like it’s alive.
🤎 And Lover? Smoked along the lower lash line, soft but impactful — it’s the kind of brown shimmer that’s lowkey sexy without trying too hard.

✨Applied over Specular (of course) to grip the sparkle. I used brushes from our own Lid Luxe Mastery Set to place and pat everything without fallout. No fingers needed, even with the shimmer bombs.

🌿 Thornshade brings that earthy, brown base loaded with green shimmer — it’s deep, grungy, and gives just the right amount of mystery.
🔥 Cinderbloom lights things up with its bright green pop that shifts into soft rust and pink. Think: enchanted moss meets dying embers.
🤎 Lover adds the perfect smoke — a classic shimmer that’s been with Devinah since the beginning. Still holds her own, still sparkles red + pink in all the right light.

This one’s for the sparkle lovers, the shift chasers, the ones who wanna look like the forest hexed them on purpose 🌒

🍂 Summer’s packing her bags, but I’m not done playing in the shadows just yet. For this look, I recreated a stunning fall transition eye by and gave it a little DeAndra twist 💚

✨ On my eyes :
🌿 Thornshade – that moody, brown-based green shimmer that looks like it was plucked straight from a haunted forest floor.
🔥 Cinderbloom – electric green ember vibes that shift into rust and rose… like summer leaves catching fire on their way down.
🤎 Lover – a ride-or-die shimmer from Devinah’s early days, soft but sultry, with warm red and pink micro sparks that tie it all together.

📸 This is the distance shot from my usual trio — you know the one that gives you the full vibe: skin, lips, eye magic. I’m also wearing:

💄 MAC Lip Liner in Nightmoth + Lipstick in Flesh Stone

This mix of sparkly green, warm ember, and smoky brown feels like that weird limbo where August is dragging her sunburnt feet while fall waits in the wings with a broom and a basket of apples 🍎🍁

Okay… she’s officially giving ❤️‍🔥 I’m obsessed with how this look came together. For just using 3 singles?!? Love it!

When I started my One Eye Done, One Eye To Go series, it was to show the magic of one eye in-process vs. the full vision. But seeing the whole face? That’s where it really locks in.

Tucana was the star of the show — that shift is STUNNING in person — but honestly, it’s the way Penelope softened the lower lash and Karma brought that drama that makes me want to wear this combo again and again.
