Meet Ernie Andrus, the oldest living NTC recruit we've met, who is turning 100 this Saturday, August 19th! He was a recruit at NTC in 1942 and broke the world’s record for the oldest person to run coast to coast. He started by touching the Pacific Ocean at Mission Beach on October 7, 2013, and touched the Atlantic Ocean on August 20, 2016. Ernie is running again and will be finishing his run this Saturday and celebrating his 100th birthday at Mission Beach and celebrating with a taco bar 🌮 at Sandbar at 9am.
