Hi everyone!👋🏼

I figured I’d re-introduce myself to any new followers/ future clients! I’m Jessica, owner of Serene Beauty! Some fun facts about me:
•I’ve known I wanted to do hair since high school! My mom and I colored my hair bright pink in the 5th grade and from there I always had a passion for hair and beauty!
•I originally thought I wanted to cut & color hair. A few months into that right out of cosmetology school, I realized it wasn’t my thing! I had a huge passion for event/ bridal hair styling & makeup, and decided to pursue it head on!
•I lived in Hawaii for 6 months in 2016, where I worked on an amazing hair & makeup team doing multiple weddings a week! I moved back to upstate NY summer of 2016 and dove into starting my hair & makeup business!
•I’m SUPER into mind-body wellness. I believe our thoughts & energy are the most powerful things we have & they’re in our control! Yoga, meditation, acupuncture, etc, I’ll take it all! Self-care is a priority for me, I need to take care of myself so I can take care of my amazing clients!
•What do I love most about what I do? I truly love making people feel like their most confident and comfortable selves, whatever that means to them! It’s an honor to have someone’s trust (especially with their wedding day hair/ makeup), and I take that seriously. I love the connections I form with people, and providing a calm and trusting energy to a bride’s wedding day. I could ramble on about a million other things I love, but I’ll stop here!
