Sometimes the strength is in the quiet.

In the seasons when it looks like nothing is happening.

When the seed has been planted, but nothing has broken through the soil yet.

Because before anything emerges, the roots have to grow.

For almost six years, I feel like I have been in that season.
Years of going inward.
Rooting deeper.
Nourishing what couldn't yet be seen.
Healing. Unwinding. Remembering.
Learning to trust myself and what was growing beneath the surface.

There were times when that gestation period felt like an eternity.
For years, I felt like I was falling behind. Like maybe my seed wasn't taking hold. I watched life moving around me and wondered why I wasn't growing in the same way.

But I wasn't falling behind.
I was growing roots.

Roots strong enough to hold me for something so much bigger than I could have imagined at the time.

Maybe I couldn't see what was growing because I wasn't meant to yet.

Last fall, I began to feel something shift.
A tiny emergence through the soil.

And now, in 2026, I can feel myself breaking through.

Growing upward.
Expanding outward.
Beginning to stretch my branches toward everything that is becoming possible.

When I look at this picture of myself standing between these two trees, I see a threshold.

Almost like a portal between what has been and what is becoming.
That beautiful in-between space where I don't have to know exactly how tall I will grow, how far my branches will reach, or what will emerge next.

I only have to keep trusting the roots that brought me here.

I am standing at the threshold of becoming more fully me.

More authentic.
More rooted.
More expansive.
More willing to be seen.

And through this growth, what I began creating has changed shape and form. My vision has become so much more than I could have ever imagined.

And maybe I needed those years of rooting.

To grow deep enough.
To become steady enough.
To create the foundation needed to hold and carry the work—and the people—I am now being called to support.

So don't mistake the quiet seasons for nothing happening.

Sometimes the most important growth of our lives is happening underneath the soil, long before anyone else can see it.

And sometimes, when we finally emerge, it isn't loud.
It's a silent strength.

So deep. So rooted. So powerful that you can almost only feel it.

That is how I feel right now.
I am emerging. 🌱

Not because the becoming is finished, but because I am finally allowing what has been growing beneath the surface to be seen.
The roots are deep.

The branches are expanding.
And there is so much more still becoming.

If you feel called to experience this work with me, I would love to welcome you. You can join my waitlist for a one-on-one session or come experience one of my upcoming events.

There is beauty in the changing.

The seasons remind us that change doesn’t always happen all at once.
Some leaves are still green.

Some have turned brilliant shades of red and gold.

Some are already beginning to fall.

And somehow, all of it belongs.
Maybe we are allowed to be this way too.

As we step into fall, perhaps we can meet ourselves exactly where we are—honoring what has been, appreciating what is here now, and allowing what is ready to fall away to do so.

There is beauty even in the releasing.

Eventually, the leaves will fall and the branches will become bare. And I’ve always loved how a bare tree resembles the branching of our lungs—as though nature itself is reminding us to breathe.

To create space.

To expand.

To trust that bare does not mean empty.

That letting go does not mean nothing is happening.

There is still life beneath the surface.
There is still growth we cannot yet see.

Maybe this season isn’t asking us to know exactly what comes next.

Maybe it is simply asking us to honor what was, be present with what is, and make room for what is waiting to emerge.

There is beauty in becoming.

There is beauty in releasing.

And there is beauty in the space between.

Sometimes in the excitement of becoming, we forget to grieve what we are leaving behind.

I realized something today.
I’ve been keeping myself busy. Creating. Planning. Dreaming. Preparing for everything that is coming next.

And maybe part of that busyness was also keeping me from having to fully feel what is ending.

Because even when change is beautiful… even when it is something we chose… even when we know with our whole heart that we are moving in the direction we are meant to go…
there can still be grief.

And I’m also realizing how exhausting change can be.

Even beautiful change. Even change we’ve prayed for, worked for, and are so excited about.

There is so much happening underneath it all—letting go of what was, feeling the grief of what we’re leaving, while making space for everything that is coming.

Sometimes our bodies just get tired.

I’m learning to give myself permission to slow down, to feel what I’m actually feeling, and to have grace for myself in the becoming.

Grace for the excitement. Grace for the tears. Grace for the days when my body simply says, not today.

Growth doesn’t mean we have to rush past the sadness.

Sometimes we need to sit with it. To feel it. To honor what was. To give gratitude for the people, places, experiences, lessons, laughter, struggles, and love that helped carry us to where we are now.

As I prepare to leave a job that has held me, loved me, and surrounded me with an incredible team of people who have supported me through so many seasons of my life, I’m realizing how important it is for me to honor the sadness of leaving too.

I am incredibly excited for this next chapter. I know I am being called toward something more—toward expansion, purpose, and the work that feels deeply aligned with who I am becoming.

But excitement doesn’t erase grief.
Maybe part of creating space for what is coming is allowing ourselves to fully feel what we are releasing.
To let the tears come. To let gratitude and sadness exist together. To honor the chapter before we turn the page.
Because letting go doesn’t mean what was is gone.

It becomes part of us.

Part of our story. Part of our growth.

Part of the path that brought us here.
I am so deeply grateful for every person who has been part of this chapter of my life. And while my heart feels the sadness of change, it is also wide open to everything that is waiting for me.

This isn’t really goodbye. 🤍

It’s gratitude for what was, love for what still is, and trust in what is becoming.

Sometimes, becoming requires letting go.

I have been thinking a lot about water lately.

It doesn't fight to remain where it has always been.

It moves.

It changes direction. It spills over the edge. It winds around what it cannot move. It gathers strength. It becomes still when stillness is needed… and when the path opens again, it flows.

I feel as though I am standing in one of those places in my own life.

A season of change.

A season of allowing pieces of my life that once held me, supported me, and perhaps were exactly what I needed at the time… to begin falling away.

Not because those chapters were wrong.

But because sometimes we outgrow the container that once held us.
And I am beginning to understand that we cannot always carry everything from one version of ourselves into the next.

Sometimes we have to loosen our grip.

Sometimes we have to trust the current before we can see where it is taking us.

And sometimes we have to allow an old life to become smaller so that the life calling us forward finally has room to expand.

For me, that calling has become impossible to ignore.

I am choosing to immerse myself more fully in Sacred Spiral Healing — in the work that lights something up inside of me. In creating. In connecting. In listening deeply to the body. In holding space for people to reconnect with themselves. In continuing to explore what this work wants to become.

There is fear in choosing something you love this deeply.

There are unknowns.

There are moments when the mind wants guarantees before the soul is willing to move.

But perhaps faith isn't knowing exactly where the river ends.

Perhaps faith is knowing that it is time to stop clinging to the bank.

This season is teaching me that letting go isn't always loss.

Sometimes it is making space.

For alignment. For purpose. For expansion. For a version of ourselves we haven't fully met yet.

Nature does this without apology.

The trees release their leaves. The river releases the water that has already passed.

The seasons change without asking permission to become something new.

Maybe we are meant to do the same.
To honor what has been. To release what has completed its purpose. And to trust ourselves enough to step toward what is calling us.

I don't know every bend in the river ahead.

But I know what I love.

I know what makes me feel alive.
And I know I am ready to follow it.
Maybe reaching our full potential isn't always about becoming more.

Maybe sometimes…
it's about allowing everything that is no longer ours to fall away, so there is finally room for who we were always becoming.

And through all of this change, I carry so much gratitude for where I have come from.

For the people, the experiences, the challenges, and even the seasons I didn't always understand while I was living them. Every chapter has taught me something. Every experience has shaped me, stretched me, and helped lead me to where I am now.

I don't need to leave the past behind with anything other than gratitude. I can honor everything it gave me while still knowing that it's time to keep flowing forward.

With this new season comes new space to grow.

Beginning in November, I'm so excited to be opening more availability through Sacred Spiral Healing, along with new offerings and experiences that have been quietly taking shape.

There is so much beginning to unfold… and I can't wait to share it with you.

Please come out and support this amazing woman and the beautiful space she has created for our community. 🤍

I’m so grateful to be renting a space here and to have Sacred Spiral Healing be part of what is unfolding within these walls.

The services offered here are such a beautiful complement to the work I do and can be experienced before or after a session with me to create an even more supportive, restorative experience.
(Please book through her website)

I would love to see our community come together to support this space and the incredible woman behind it. ✨

And when you come, ask her about her why. There is such a beautiful and deeply meaningful reason behind this space and the heart that has gone into creating it.

Okay, I’m putting this out into the universe. 😂

HELP KAREN QUIT HER DAY JOB.

Yep. I said it.

I still work a full-time Monday–Friday job while building The Restoration Rooms around it.

And after coming back from vacation this week, I realized something:

I want to be HERE. I NEED to be here. Building it. Creating new experiences. Meeting you. Growing it into everything I know it can become.

So I'm officially starting the:

HELP KAREN QUIT HER DAY JOB CAMPAIGN

No GoFundMe.
PNo donations.
No sad violin music - wait there's literally sad violin music playing 😆 🤣 volume up

Just come take care of yourself.

Book a room.
Try something you've been curious about.
Bring someone you love.
Tell a friend we exist.

You get to Release. Relax. Reset.

And every booking gets me one tiny step closer to eventually saying:

“I quit.”

Let's see what we can do, friends! ❤️

When was the last time you truly listened to your body?

Not just noticed the ache in your shoulder or the pain in your hip.

Not just looked at the lines beginning to appear on your face, the scars you carry, or the places that don't move quite like they once did.

When was the last time you actually listened?

Closed your eyes.

Became still.

Moved out of your mind and into your body.

And asked:

What are you trying to tell me?

Our bodies carry stories.

Some of them are easy to remember.
Maybe there is a scar from a surgery, and somewhere along the way your body began compensating around it.

Maybe you twisted your ankle years ago, and without realizing it, you changed the way you walked.

Maybe it was a fall you took as a child.

A car accident.

An injury.

But what about the stories that aren't as easy to see?

Was there a conversation that changed something inside of you?

Words spoken unkindly that you still remember decades later?

A moment when you learned it wasn't safe to speak?

A time when you felt you needed to make yourself smaller?

Fear.

Anger.

Grief.

Guilt.

Shame.

Where did those experiences land?

And where do the threads of those stories travel now?

Through your energy.

Through your breath.

Through your fascia.

Through the way you hold your shoulders or clench your jaw.

Through the way you move through the world.

Through the parts of yourself you allow others to see—and the parts you still keep hidden.

We spend so much time asking where it hurts.

Maybe we also need to ask:

Where does the joy live?

Where do you feel most alive?

When do you feel expansive?

When do you feel completely and unapologetically yourself?

And when did you stop feeling that way?

Are you afraid to be seen?

Are you afraid to be heard?

Are you still carrying guilt or shame that was never yours to carry?

Are you still wearing masks that once protected you but no longer fit who you are becoming?

Are you waking up every day and going somewhere that no longer fills your heart?

Are you living in alignment with yourself—or have you become so accustomed to simply getting through life that you've forgotten to ask?

And underneath all of it...

What does your body know?

Perhaps listening to the body isn't about finding one answer.

Perhaps it's about becoming curious about the threads.

Following them gently.

Not forcing.

Not judging.

Simply noticing where they lead.

Because one place in the body rarely exists completely on its own.

We adapt.
We compensate.
We protect.
We find ways to keep moving.

And sometimes we do the same thing emotionally.

We learn how to survive something, and years later we realize we're still living from the protection we once needed.

What might happen if you allowed yourself to soften?

To listen?

To feel?

To unwind?

What might happen if instead of fighting your body, you began developing a relationship with it?

Your body has carried you through every single moment of your life.

Every heartbreak.

Every fall.

Every celebration.

Every loss.

Every touch.

Every beginning.

Every ending.

Every version of you.

Maybe it's time to honor that.

Maybe it's time to listen to the whispers before they have to become screams.

Maybe it's time to follow the threads back to yourself.

To unwind what you no longer need to carry.

To step beyond some of the fear that has kept you small.

To remember the joy.

To honor your body.

To honor your voice.

To allow yourself to be seen.

And to step more fully into the person you came here to be.

When was the last time you truly listened to your body?

Maybe today is a beautiful place to begin.

And if you’re not quite sure how to begin listening, I would be honored to help you start that journey—to slow down, become curious, follow the threads, and begin finding your way back to yourself.

✨ I’m so excited to be part of the RaSani Fair this October! ✨

This year feels especially meaningful because I’ll be sharing something that has been growing and evolving through my work for quite some time — Sacred Spiral Intuitive Energy Weaving. 🤍

If you’ve experienced my massage or Reiki before, this is something a little different. It brings together so many pieces of my work—an immersive guided meditation, intuitive energy weaving, Reiki, gentle bodywork, breath, sound and vibration, and deep listening to what your body is asking for in that moment.

I will be working intuitively with your body and energy—creating an experience designed to help you slow down, soften, receive, and simply allow.

I’ll be offering individual Sacred Spiral sessions right at my booth, giving you an opportunity to experience this work for yourself.

And there’s another reason this weekend is extra special to me…

October 4th is my birthday!
So this year, my birthday wish is pretty simple: come see me. 💛
