Electric Beach-Albert Lea, MN

Well… I guess it’s time to finally tell you. 🤍

This is probably one of the hardest posts I’ve ever had to write.

After 12 years of owning Electric Beach, I’ve made the decision to hand the keys over to someone who already knows and loves this place almost as much as I do.

Heather is officially taking over Electric Beach.

For 9 years, she has been a huge part of this business. She’s been there through the crazy days, the changes, the moves, the good times and the really hard ones. When I realized I couldn’t keep carrying everything the way I have been, there was nobody I trusted more with Electric Beach than her.

And because I know people are going to ask Electric Beach is NOT closing. Your packages, your tans and the place you know are still there. You’re just going to see Heather running the show now.

As for me, I’m not disappearing either. I’ll still be around, I’ll still be doing spray tans for now and do permanent jewelry, and I’m sure Heather won’t be able to get rid of me that easily.

This place has been such a huge part of my life for 12 years. Letting go is incredibly bittersweet, but knowing who I’m handing it to makes it a whole lot easier.

Heather, she’s yours. ❤️

Take good care of her.

And to every single person who walked through those doors and supported me over the last 12 years thank you. More than you’ll ever know.

-Amy
