It all started off a random Facebook message I sent to Gretta.. “Hey you’re really great at hair and I want you to work with me in a brand new to me salon. If you want to discuss this more, let’s meet over some coffee!” I didn’t know then that Gretta would become such an important part of my life. We worked in our small salon for two years and decided we wanted to expand. We out grew that location faster than we anticipated. I started looking at buildings and purchased sals rather quickly. Her and I worked together coming up with a plan of how to set this salon up everything from placement of salon fixtures to lights. Gretta helped with everything. Over the last 6 years I can count on one hand how many times we disagreed on something. And most of it was me not eating and being hangry 😅

A year or two back. Gretta started college classes. I knew the day would come I would have to say see you soon to her. She started volunteering at a local establishment and it turned into more than she bargained for and was offered a paid job! To say they are lucky to have her is an understatement. I know how much I am going to miss having her around the salon but I am so happy she is following her heart and dreams. This is very very bittersweet for us at Roots. So proud of her and so sad to have her leave! Please help me wish her best of luck in her new endeavor.

Every storefront window looked gorgeous this year, and definitely boosted our towns holiday spirit! Thank you everyone!!!!
