I have been in the deep dark waters many many times before.
Often times I was blind to it and others around me noticed before it was too late.
If it weren’t for professors, coaches, family and friends who decided to put my mental health above any and every expectation they had for me, I wouldn’t be here.

Heyo! It’s Monday.

We’ve got quite a few new people around these parts so I thought I’d share a little about me 👀

My name is Bethany and I am a mere 26 years old but I have an old soul.

I’m a New Mexico native. I was born and raised here.

I just keep going. I can’t explain it.

Grew up with an abusive parent. Through teenage pregnancy.
As a single mom scraping by at 20.
To working full time while going to school full time.
Miscarriage and infertility.
Difficult pregnancies and challenging babies.
Marriage and parenting a newborn, a toddler and a pr***en.

Anxiety and depression have affected me since I was 5 years old.

It’s as if I’ve lived an entire lifetime all before I turned 26.

I’ve been a mom for a decade and the world just keeps on spinning.

You will almost always find me with a baby on my hip. I love it. I’ve wanted to be a mom since I was a little girl.

Working from home the last 6 years has given me the opportunity to take care of my babies while providing for my family.

It’s so incredibly challenging but I wouldn’t change it for the world.

I feel like I could write a book now and I just might.

I love pink and purple and all things glitter.

Catch me with my third cup of coffee or some matcha.

I love snacks and Champange and tequila.

I use essential oils and homeopathic remedies while keeping my skincare clean but I also eat Chick-fil-A and munch on some hot Cheetos.

I have trouble asking for things and help when I need it. I’ve found my people and they fuel my soul.

So there’s that.

I’m pretty much an open book about my struggles and my accomplishments.
By no way was any of it luck.

It’s just been hard work, faith and our village holding all the pieces together.
