Where are all my Hello Kitty girlies? 🙋‍♀️

Have you seen this super cute collection Starbucks dropped in collaboration with Hello Kitty? Did you pick anything up?

I rushed to my nearest Starbucks this morning & waited in line for about 30 minutes. I got the HK plushie, HK clear tumbler, HK water bottle, HK mug, and both gift cards. I'm happy! 😁 No luck with the glass bear though.

Hi Everyone 👋

If you're still following me here, I want to start by saying thank you. I truly appreciate you sticking around, even though I’ve been quiet for a while.

This year has been... a lot. Life has been life-ing hard, and I’ve spent most of it soaking up as much time as possible with my family before my husband deployed. For those who may not know, my husband is in the Army National Guard. This is his second deployment, and it’s been a much harder transition for us as a family.

This time, it's a combat deployment — which means his safety isn’t guaranteed every day. That reality has been incredibly heavy. I don’t know what I’d do without him. So creating makeup content and being active on social media simply couldn’t be my focus. My priority was making lasting memories with him and our son before he left.

He deployed in May, and since then, I’ve stepped into the role of a solo parent — caring for my son, managing the house, and taking care of our pets. It’s been a big adjustment. I’ve gained a whole new appreciation for just how much my husband did as a partner and father. I miss him every single day.

And in the midst of it all… I feel like I’ve lost a part of myself. Makeup has always been my creative outlet and safe space. Not being able to pour into that part of me has been tough. I miss creating. I miss the fun. And I miss all of you — your support, your encouragement, your energy.

Right now, I’m working on finding myself again — emotionally, mentally, and physically. In the meantime, I’ve found it a little easier to create shorter tutorials on TikTok. If you’d like to keep up with me there, I’d love to see you. I’ll be back here when I’m ready to go live again.
