I'm incredibly excited that Governor Lujan has rolled out a reopening plan that includes salons starting Monday, June 1st. As I plan on reopening, our health and safety is top of mind. I am taking this very seriously and want you to feel secure coming to Platinum at Sola. I am taking additional steps to be extra vigilant and following cleaning recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the State of New Mexico to ensure all proper precautions are being taken. After we were forced to close, Sola deep cleaned all the common areas, including the carpet and tile. They are also going through the location prior to reopening to do another deep clean with special attention paid to frequently touched surfaces.

Additional precautions during this time have been taken:

The water fountains have been taped off
Sola removed magazines, business cards, and all loose pamphlets and flyers from the hallways
Sola removed all chairs and benches from the hallways
I have thoroughly cleaned Platinum and removed all items as required by the states "Best Practices" guidelines

The state of New Mexico has issued the attached requirements for salons that we will be following, the full version of which is included here.

Below are things I need your help with:

All doors will be locked and no walk-ins will be allowed. Once you arrive for your appointment, please text me at 505-907-5682 from your cell phone or call me from the front door call box if you don't carry a cell phone. I will come to the door and let you in. Feel free to wait in your car until I come to the door.

Once we get in the studio, I'll have us both use hand sanitizer and then I will take your temperature with a digital thermometer. As per NM Covid-safe "Best Practices" If your temperature is 100.4 or higher, unfortunately we will need to reschedule.

We should be the only people in the studio. Unfortunately no guests should be brought to your appointment, unless you have children that are receiving a service.

Masks will need to be worn by both of us to meet the new expectations by the state.

Please bear with me as this will all be new and different for all of us and I may run a bit off schedule with the changes.

I have also reviewed and made some changes to my services and some prices have changed.

Please be aware of your health and those around you. If you have a fever, dry cough, any flu like symptoms or anyone close to you recently has, please kindly reschedule your appointment.
