IT'S FINALLY BACK!!!
All Good mineral sport sunscreen lotion, SPF 30 βοΈπ₯³
All Good was out of the bulk sunscreen since May 2025, and we were told this was a limited batch...so what we just received is possibly all we'll be able to get for this year.
We will continue carrying the Aloe Up SPF 33 & SPF 50, for those who prefer higher SPF and to ensure continued availability of sun protection through the whole summer. The Aloe Up does, however, have (light) added fragrance -- so if you prefer unscented, the All Good is the way to go!
Thanks so much for your patience with this one. Enjoy the sun safely π

The FY27 CABQ budget process is wrapping up, with final approval expected at Mondayβs council meeting. One cut reduces curbside recycling pickup to every other week.
While we encouraged residents to share disappointment with this change, it is clear that a rate increase β even a modest one β will not be considered to retain weekly service. The reality is that budgeting involves difficult tradeoffs, this is not the only less-than-ideal change, & recycling inefficiencies deserve more public discussion. We do not expect any discussion on this item tomorrow.
While disappointing, we hope this leads to broader conversations about creating a waste system that is both fiscally and environmentally sustainable. If you already signed up to comment, this may be a good opportunity to:
β‘οΈ Thank councilors for protecting transit & city employee pay
β‘οΈ Encourage long-term budget stability & waste system improvement solutions, such as a broader service rate overhaul or single-use paper bag fees
β‘οΈ Advocate for efforts to reduce recycling contamination
β‘οΈ Call for continued discussion to ensure larger households are not disproportionately impacted, such as access to extra carts
So, whatβs with these photos? Theyβre from a tour of one of the cityβs contracted recycling facilities. The 2nd and 3rd photos show a massive pile of contaminated (non-recyclable) material sorted out to be sent to landfill β roughly 15x30x50 feet and constantly growing. At that time, ABQβs contamination rate was 34%, the highest of municipalities served π (for comparison, Los Alamos was ~17%). This is a significant issue the city has not prioritized.
We donβt hold onto hope for cool new programs like curbside composting anytime soon. But we do hope this moment sparks broader conversations about improving waste systems overall π€·πΌββοΈ

On Wednesdays, we wear masks π·π©·
While our team is asked to mask up when you do, we haven't required customers to wear masks for a few years. However, we do have a fair number of folks in the community who either require masked spaces for their health/disability or who otherwise feel more comfortable in a masked space.
With our expanded hours, which aim to make refilling more accessible, we're setting aside 1 full day for masked up shopping: every Wednesday, ALL customers are asked to put on a mask before entering.
You can bring your own (reusable cloth or otherwise) or we'll have some available if you don't have one on you. They don't need to be pink π but they do need to be worn properly and cover both your nose & mouth β
Doesn't resonate with you? That's ok. We're open daily, with 6/7 days allowing you to choose whether or not to wear a mask.
Can't make it Wednesdays but prefer masks? Our team will still be asked to put a mask on if you come in wearing one, no matter the day of the week, and we'll still offer the option of online order pickup or curbside service for those who can't enter when unmasked customers are present.

This Wednesday*, we're celebrating Earth Day and our 4th anniversary with something very exciting: expanding our hours to being OPEN DAILY! π₯³π
Starting this Wednesday, 4/22, you can come reduce, reuse, and refill 7 days/week, 10AM - 4:30PM.
Gone are the days of running out of laundry detergent only to realize you can't refill until later in the week π
Hello ππΌ to hours available for those with non-traditional work schedules (we resonate with the struggle of so many ABQ businesses being closed Monday through Wednesday)!
*Please note: on Wednesdays, wearing masks π· will be required for all shop visitors.
We hope these changes make refilling more accessible & look forward to seeing you on these expanded days!

CLOTHING SWAP during |10AM - 2PM Sunday, 4/19
How will it work??
π While it's a "swap," you don't need to bring anything to take anything. You also don't have to take something if you bring something.
πYou can drop off items in advance during shop hours (limit 1 grocery bag per person), or bring items to the event itself (no limit to day-of drop-offs).
π If dropping off during the event, we ask that you take the time to organize your items in the relevant categories. Guidance will be available.
𧣠Clothes, shoes, & wearable accessories are all welcome BUT items MUST be CLEAN and GOOD CONDITION.
π Folks may come and go as they please.
π© Clothing swap items are free.
β»οΈ Items leftover after the shop will be donated. Get in touch if you are connected with a group that wants specific leftover items -- we'll set aside relevant items after the event concludes.
Thanks y'all -- see you next Sunday!!

Fun fact: the first piece of inventory I ever ordered for the shop was a drum of vinegar π€π€£
For a long hot minute, I was trying my darndest to convince people that it can replace so many cleaning products at a fraction of the cost, but there was a surprising amount of resistance. Fast forward 3 years...it's a top-selling refill and folks often come here *because* we have vinegar.
We've been getting a lot of calls recently checking that it's in stock, since spring be springing early (highs in the 80's next week?!?) and weeds are popping up everywhere π±π±π± and YES we just restocked 110 gallons of 30% vinegar this week.
While high strength vinegar is most commonly used as a nontoxic herbicide, it's also great for dealing with mold & mildew. Or, for a cost savings compared to our 5% cleaning vinegar, you can buy concentrated and dilute yourself.
The more you know! π
